You’re right. It is misleading for the media to use the phrase “digging up dirt.” That implies that there is dirt. Instead they should be saying “manufacturing dirt”. Trump wanted to be able to say. “See the Ukrainians are even investigating the Bidens, for what, I really don’t know, you need to talk to Rudy. He would know, that’s his business. I would imagine corruption, but the Ukrainians, they are really wonderful people, my wife is Ukrainian, many people don’t know that, but she is and they are really wonderful people.”
