Russia launched a fresh barrage of missile strikes on key infrastructure facilities in Kyiv and other Ukrainian cities on Monday, leaving parts of the capital without electricity and water. CNN's Erica Hill speaks with CNN's International Diplomatic Editor Nic Roberston about what is like in Kyiv. Later, she speaks with Andrea Kendall-Taylor, a former deputy national intelligence officer for the Russia/Eurasia regions. #CNN #News

I would never believe anything CNN BBC said did America ever find the weapons in Iraq or they still looking for it🤣
The U.S. Has Killed More Than 20 Million People in 37 “Victim Nations” Since World War II
Let us put this in historical perspective: the commemoration of the War to End All Wars acknowledges that 15 million lives were lost in the course of World War I (1914-18).
The loss of life in the second World War (1939-1945) was on a much large scale, when compared to World War I: 60 million lives both military and civilian were lost during World War II. (Four times those killed during World War I).
The largest WWII casualties were China and the Soviet Union, 26 million in the Soviet Union, China estimates its losses at approximately 20 million deaths.
Ironically, these two countries (allies of the US during WWII) which lost a large share of their population during WWII are now under the Biden-Harris administration categorized as “enemies of America”, which are threatening the Western World.
NATO-US Forces are at Russia’s Doorstep. A so-called “preemptive nuclear war” against China and Russia is on the drawing board of the Pentagon.
Germany and Austria lost approximately 8 million people during WWII, Japan lost more than 2.5 million people. The US and Britain respectively lost more than 400,000 lives.
This carefully researched article by James A. Lucas documents the more than 20 million lives lost resulting from US led wars, military coups and intelligence ops carried out in the wake of what is euphemistically called the “post-war era” (1945- ).
The extensive loss of life in Lebanon, Syria, Yemen, Ukraine and Libya is not included in this study.
Continuous US led warfare (1945- ): there was no “post-war era“.
And now, a World War III scenario is contemplated by US-NATO.
Please clam up…..This is about Putin and his war. Yeah I understand……stand by your man…….but don’t try and make him innocent because of some wrongs by the USA.
Did you know over TWO MILLION Muslims are in Chinese concentration camps? Did you know OVER TWO HUNDRED civilians were killed in a stampede in South Korea recently? Did you know Iran has killed SEVERAL HUNDRED protestors over the last month? If you’re wondering, “Why on Earth is this guy ranting about China and South Korea and Iran? That has nothing to do with a war between Ukraine and Russia.” well I’m equally wondering why in the world you’re ranting about the U.S., as if it’s somehow relevant to a war between Ukraine and Russia.
I need to know why Kyiv is so reluctant to destroy Kremlin, St. Petersburg & facilities inside Russia.
This women never read a book of history of war…this is the same strategy that NATO used in yugoslavia attack the infrastructure wich is used by civilians but also by militars so isnt a novelty dear 😂
Ukraine says they downed 44 out of 50 missiles. But 18 hit their targets. Pathological liars.
12% of the population in the US struggle with hunger -about 41 million people
There are 38 million Americans that struggle with poverty
Households with children that are headed by a single woman have the highest rate of food insecurity
16.7% of all children do not know where their next meal is coming from
22 million children rely on school for their meals
12% of senior citizens experience food insecurity
Poverty is directly correlated to hunger, and the poverty rate is going down
The average monthly income for those who use food assistance programs is $813/month
The average cost of a meal in America is $3.02.
New Mexico, Mississippi and Louisiana have some of the highest rates of hunger. Never mind though we can still find 100 billion to fund a bunch of Nazis in Ukraine.
Ukrainians are not Nazis! We wouldn’t be getting that money anyway because republicans block it every time a bill is put up that would help us. Ukrainians are suffering worse than we ever have.
And we are controlled by Globalist’s interests not yours!! 🤦♂️ Russia looking better and better every day to me.
Russia launched 50 missiles, and the Ukranian army destroyed 44, are you serious, probably they destroyed those missiles with slingshots.
You’re wrong. 67 out of 50 missiles were shot down.
Shameful action by Russia. This will only strengthen the resolve of the Ukrainian people and the determination of the West to support Ukraine.
Ukraine intercepted 44 out 50 missiles in two hours. That means only 6 hit, 12%.
Amazing how those 6 missiles damaged 18 structures in 10 different regions.😂😂
They’ve intercepted Missiles, but they had some issues with the Iranian Drones since their Radar signature is so small and they’re flying close to the ground, so please don’t spread disinfo.
This time Soviets hit power centres close to Hydro-Electric Power Plants. So, Iran is taking part in the Extermination of Europeans…they will regret one day just like the Angry One Man in his bunker in Berlin!
@james Deer I’m asking a question because I’m confused
There can be several reasons on why I didn’t get it
I could be someone that’s completely confused in life not understanding anything at all
Or I could simply be someone who doesn’t understand English
I asked YOU a question I expected an answer
Not a terrible response which I was hoping for an answer.
@Unknown_Bag if you dont understand what is being said then your iq is the room temperature number bruh
@Unknown_Bag Do more research on some of these nameless and faceless user account that all seem to be repeating the same talking points.
You can save your time by not activating these 🇷🇺🤖 and their simpleton useful idiots that swarms any comments that questions their stupidity.
@Unknown_Bag he is actually making fun of the Ukrainian statement.
WELL DONE RUSSIA ,BIG SALUTE TO THE GREATEST AND BEST LEADER IN THE WORLD,MR.PUTIN ….RUSSIA PROTECT YOUR COUNTRY AND PEOPLE BY ANY MEANS NECESSARY, DO NOT LET TERRORISTS,BULLIES,TYRANTS AND DICTATORS THREATEN YOU , GOD BLESS MR.PUTIN AND RUSSIA ,AMEEEEEEN
Putin: “What do you mean our nukes haven’t been maintained and may not work?”
General: “Well …. you know how everyone in your regime drives high end Range Rovers, Mercedes, and has vacation homes abroad and yachts they could not possibly afford on a government salary .. well where did you think they got the money from to buy them???”
Putin: “Can’t we just steal more from the commoners? After all, they are so stupid, we have been doing it for years yet they still support us”
General: “Well …. over the decades we’ve stolen pretty much everything we can from the commoners …. we did have a plan to steal their toilets …. unfortunately most of them don’t have indoor plumbing …. but don’t worry, we have a backup plan! We have plenty of toilets coming from Ukraine!”
This will help, sure…keep going…
just another miscalculation:
Europeans are such disgusted by that terror – every single missile, every single disruption, even every single twaddling of anyone of that politburo makes the destain of everything Russian only stronger and longer lasting as the desire for strong and clear separation and tough deterrence.
Ukraine will have ONE very hard winter, Europe will have ONE somewhat hard winter – RuZZia will have hard decades to come.
With the backwardness of our economy, increment in the price of gas, alarming rates of unemployment. I must confess our country have taken a wrong turns.vividly I don’t know how else to carter for my expenses
@Monumental Travel I think this might be a crypto currency robot post.

The Russian armed forces wiped out over 2,500 Ukrainian servicemen and foreign mercenaries during its special military operation in Ukraine over the last week. From October 17 to 23, Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) suffered its heaviest losses in terms of manpower and equipment on the Nikolayev-Krivoy Rog front, as opposed to last week when AFU suffered its heaviest losses in the Kupyansk direction. During the offensive in the South Donetsk direction, Russian troops advanced more than 3 km deep into the enemy’s defense.
Russian assault groups advanced more than 3 km deep into the enemy’s defense and reached the settlement of Pavlovka. AFU lost over 100 servicemen; six soldiers surrendered.
During the offensive, one Ukrainian tank was destroyed and another one was captured. Three armored combat vehicles and six transport vehicles were also destroyed.
Ukrainian losses in manpower: The most significant losses in manpower were sustained by the Ukrainian military in the Kupyansk direction: Ukraine lost 830 men. In the Nikolayev-Krivoy Rog direction, Ukrainian units made unsuccessful attempts to attack Russian positions on October 25, 26, and 27. AFU attacked five times on October 29 and made seven attacks before October 31. As a result, Ukrainian troops lost over 800 servicemen and foreign mercenaries in this direction, 650 men on the Krasny Liman front, and 190 men in the South Donetsk area.
In addition, over 40 Ukrainian servicemen were wiped out as a result of a Russian missile strike on a manpower and equipment gathering point near the village of Staroverovka in the Kharkov Region.
Ukrainian losses in equipment: Ukrainian troops lost their largest number of tanks this past week on the Krasny Liman front: 18 in total. Russian units on the Nikolayev-Krivoy Rog front destroyed the most Ukrainian armored combat vehicles: 63 pieces.
Russian Lancet drones destroyed the Ukrainian Buk-M1 MLRS’s self-propelled firing system. AFU also lost a U.S.-made AN/TPQ-37 counter-battery radar.
In total, the Ukrainian armed forces lost about 180 tanks and other armored vehicles, as well as over 170 vehicles of various types over the week.
Aircraft, air defense and artillery performance: The most productive day for Russian air defense equipment was October 30, when they destroyed three Ukrainian Mi-8 helicopters and a Su-25 attack aircraft.
Russian aviation, missile and artillery units destroyed several American M777 howitzers, two U.S.-made HIMARS multiple launch rocket systems, as well as a German MARS-2 multiple launch rocket system and PzH 2000 self-propelled artillery unit.
Also, one Ukrainian speedboat was wiped out during an attempt by a Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance group to land near Energodar in the Zaporozhye Region.
On October 26, a Russian strike in the vicinity of the village of Prikolotnoye in the Kharkov Region eliminated a communications center of the Ukrainian armed forces, and destroyed an oil storage facility near Dnepropetrovsk that was being used to supply diesel fuel to troops in Donbass.
On October 27, a factory near the Dnepropetrovsk Region’s Pavlograd was destroyed. It produced rocket fuel, explosives and gunpowder for the Ukrainian military. On October 30, Russian forces struck a training center of the Ukrainian special operations forces near Ochakov in the Nikolayev Region.
Russian troops destroyed 33 Ukrainian command posts and 14 ammunition depots over the week.
This is all speculation. We should keep in mind those soldiers aren’t fighting for free. The amount of money there making probably will set them up for life if they survive. So to them it’s worth it. Also it is America alone that is supplying Ukraine an forcing Russia to carry out this attacks over a long period of time. If it was up to them this conflict would be over an perhaps may have never started. The result will be the same at the end of the day Russia will achieve its goals. But unfortunately due to America’s personal interest world hunger may hang in the balance.
Ukraine claim that they shot down 44 out of the 50 missiles. Yet 6 missiles that got through were able to do that amount of damage?? 😱
You do realize power plants and transformers have stuff that goes boom already in them, right?
And cnn reports that with a straight face.
Propaganda numbers
Such a touching concern for the Russian troops.)) Ukraine will have to stop all its nuclear power plants and finally return to the 17th century.
What happens when people have no food, water, warmth and other comforts? They will attack their own elites who do have these things. When an army runs out of food they will function less and less.
Already the Ukrainen army suffered massive loses above 200.000 people. The West isn’t honest in portraying the real situation, but the constant cries of Ukraine leaders asking more weapons and other support says it all. It is not going well at all.
