Jamaica come on man do better what about school bus for the school children this should be the Government top priority for these school children Lord have Mercy this is crazy too much slackness a gwaan Ina Jamaica.
It is really bad on Mondays and Tuesdays no bus run between 5:30 & 7am but I thought Mr. Shaw said he had 100 buses to rolle out come September morning we are in October and still waiting for that miracle can you people have a press conference with him or give him a call so that if the buses were stolen we can help him search for them
Back then we as school children were provided with “dog bus” “chi chi buses” to get to and from school which worked…..it’s a shame there has been no progress…. but more regress…. people need to pay attention and see that a promiss is a comfort to a fool and that the elected heads of government are not doing their jobs properly…..

Government needs to put out a price list for the taxi drivers can abide by as they are charging the children adult fares……it is a serious problem I believe
The ministry of transport needs to address this problem of over charging of schoolers right now in Portland from buff bay to Port Antonio for schoolers it’s $100 for the fare and my 12 years old son as been paying $250 to come from school in the evenings
Government need to make school bus for school children and the driver pick them up from home and take them to school just like in America ,
TVJ needs to visit St Thomas and Portland again. The children packed like worst than sardines and lapping up with each other.
I go to Calabar High School and it has never been this bad for me to take a bus. One time I got in a 3A and the bus came an hour late. I was stuck in traffic for about two hours and got home after 6pm
There should be buses for
Children only during school travel time.
I started working in new Kingston since Sep 2021 last year and it was only in Jan this year 2022 I got a #76 JUTC bus only once to go to work. Sometimes I walk and it is not easy. I have seen students struggle to get to and from school. Most times strangers have to drive these kids to school and give them money to pay adult fares for those who have limited funds. I myself have to pay adult fares on behalf of these children.
The Government has a bus company, with out school bus for the kids .

It is NOT the responsibility of taxi/bus opetator to provide travel subsidy to students , its govt!! We cant expect the poor taxi operator to absorb a cost that not even the govt can afford!!
