๐ณ These guys would’ve been better off getting caught cheating on their spouse.
Last VOO https://youtu.be/u244gu7o5ys
Haha I enjoyed that sir.
As a fisherman, I say those cheaters deserve what they get!
To be screamed at by ten-year-olds in adult male bodies hahahahaha
@AaaaNinja Yep! That too! ๐
if they do it ,they been doing it to all competition they entered . it is like when somebody cheated tax ,when they catch you ,the IRS will go back all the way when they first filled the tax.
Jason Fisher is the organiser? You couldn’t write this stuff. Clearly the fish (if already dead for the sake of the competition) need to be opened up to confirm that they aren’t weighted. Hell of a lot cheaper than X-rays or metal detectors.
A Garrett Pro-Pointer doesn’t cost a whole lot and is more than enough to determine if there’s metal in the fish. But, they could do like we do in the spearo community where I live, when we hold competitions – we weigh the fish cleaned. That way you can’t just stuff a sea trout with sardines and make it heavier while getting around the metal detector and explaining away all the sardines with the trout being an excellent hunter.
Typically you don’t see 5 dead walleye being brought to the scales by professionals in a $100k boat with very effective livewells. These are catch and release tournaments. That in and of itself is highly suspicious. The fact that those 5 fish would have normally weighed 22-24 lbs, but tipped the scale at almost 34 lbs, was a dead giveaway. Lastly, what difference does it make cutting open a dead fish? It’s dead. It’s not going be any more dead. It’s also easy to feel a fish’s stomach for hard contents. Which they did before cutting them open.
Why is this funny?
The intensity of saying “we got weights in fish!” is what really got me.
I was waiting for him to call out to go get the pitchforks! Seriously!
@BenJamminMahn lol
It just sounds like it’s out of a movie set in the 1800s. GET THE TAR AND FEATHERS, BOYS!
Blowing up deluxe!
I wouldn’t want to be around if he finds his wife cheating!! Off the charts LoL
@Graeme Hampton ๐
itโs called greed, when there is money involved
You say it
Weโll pay it
We donโt need the stinking truth
No clue
It’s more than greed. People cheat at the lowest level. I know a guy who can’t help but cheat at cards with no money on the line.
They should be banned from all Tournaments
Wish the US elections were held with such scrutiny!
@Christopher Wg42 please go volunteer & find out for yourself, sheesh
next they’ll be in elk hunting competitions, game stuffed with bowling balls…
I’d go as far as saying they should have all of their hunting/fishing privileges revoked for life. I believe one of them was previously charged with poaching deer. Despicable people.
It’s sad that someone has to ruin these competition but I have to tell you it’s a little bit comical for me these guys are something else I think a real fisherman can just look at a fish like these guys did and determine the weight, to double the size is hilarious๐คฃ๐ ๐คฃ๐คฃ๐ ๐
Weights in fish!!! What has the competitive fishing community come to? ๐ญ๐ญ๐ญ

They need to lawyer up and sue the tournament for defaming their character and making it so easy to put lead weights in fish. Then they need to petition the judge for a special master to help them sort through the evidence because some of the confiscated material in the fish was precious to them and not material to the investigation.
@Seventh Anubis Typical trumpian deflection ๐ ๐
@Manderson “Why do you see the speck in your brother’s eye but fail to notice the beam in your own eye?” I think that’s been around long before Trump
I suppose you think you’re part of the solution, not part of the problem?
๐ ๐คฃ๐
THE LEAD WAS PLANTED LOL
I canโt get past the fact that the fishing tournament directorโs name is apparently โJason Fisher.โ ๐
He clearly had no other choice as to his profession
lmao i saw that too when the chick said it, and neither of them even blinked. not sure if they didn’t realize, otherwise you would think they would have chuckled or at the very least a little smile. hahahah!
I know a guy … Phil “the freezer” Fisher.
We just call him ” freezer”.
People who go fishing regularly could typically approximate the right weight of a fish by looking at it. These cheaters must’ve thought people were as stupid as they were. ๐
@Javier Fernandez LOL
They have been cheating for years the rest of the fisherman say. Nobody wins as much as these two did. Finally they are caught. They should go to prison. the prizes are and cash is real money for 1st place.
I know with pigs, you can measure the length and the girth and do some math and usually get withing 5lbs of a 400lb pig. But this was obvious, if you fish your whole life you can just eyeball a fish and probably get within 4oz’s every time.
Bro thatโs whatโs crazy people get away with so much they got that money and lost it and thought everyone was an idiot
@rand mayfield drift nice … sometimes they call it trolling too .. lol
I am so glad I did not enter my 120 pound cast iron walleye, that would have been so embarrassing

Iโve had this happen to me
I was in a fishing contest and I had two I thought were really good
Everyone thought that they were good for the pot
They started cleaning after weighing them and told me I was the winner
Two guys came back up and said they wanted their fish weight
He said he knew that his was so much bigger
So he was told that they had to open it up and bag it
They were having a fit
Everyone got upset and said itโs the rules
They had two weights inside the fish
They were never allowed to enter anymore contest
Captain John said he couldnโt believe what he was watching they had it happen once before
I love to fish and I can go out for days
I was really disappointed in the guys who were trying to cheat
I told my children that itโs just not the right way to do anything
Glad you were able to use it as a teaching moment for your kids.
I live 10 minutes away. I go waleye fishing. we know the seond the fish surfaces a probable weight. 8 pounders are rare indeed, and are as long as a man’s extended arm. A fish that size is a memorable catch. Certainly never 5 times in one day. Glad they got ’em.

class-action lawsuit and civil lawsuits should take place by every competitor to drain these men of every dime they have.
As a wife and mother of 2 VERY SERIOUS anglers, this is disgusting. My guys fish many tourney’s during the summer and this is just the most despicable thing ever. They took the fun out of the whole thing… it’s all about the excitement of if you did well. This summer there was a tourney that my hubby and son fished (hubby with his dad, and son with his friend). For the first time in 20 years, my son and his friend got 2nd place, and $$ for biggest walleye. When he called me, I could tell he was shaking like a leaf. THAT’S how a tourney should be…. EXCITING and fun! My son is a 27 year old man, and that is what fishermen fish for… that feeling!
They “won” boats and cash in the past. This isn’t their first rodeo…
Amazing that they thought they could double the weight of the fish and no one would suspect anything fishy. They could probably have gotten away with adding maybe 1-2 lbs, but doubling the weight was so stupid. Even a non-angler could spot the difference between a 4 lbs fish and an 8-poundah.
no one would suspect anything fishy bruh did you do that on purpose? lol
I think the left hand didn’t know the right hand already loaded the fish
Steve Hendricks I hope you read this, I bass fish in Texas, I feel your pain, itโs sad these guys did this and have been doing it for years, I too hope they get the maximum plenty for doing this, that being said, I feel for their family and mostly their kidsโฆ good luck and stay safe !!!

I like how dude points out that this is a rare thing, I like to think that most sportsmen are like myself and wouldn’t dare do some crap like this
