Andrew Yang: No Easy Answer To Fixing Trump's Disaster In Syria | Rachel Maddow | MSNBC
The only candidate willing to engage in a nuanced way with nuanced situations.
@Randy Smith So which non-profit has Trump given up his career for?
Trump is a failed businessman, Yang is a successful serial entrepreneur.
Trump has lied many times, can you find one lie Yang told (I have searched far and wide).
I have never voted for a democrat before, but Yang is different. Research him a bit, you will not be disappointed.
@Philo Math Do yourself a favor and Google up “The Trump Organization”. A conglomerate of over 500 companies, hundreds of properties, with a payroll of over 25,000. Fact check me on Wilkepedia, Snopes, etc. Then Google up Trumps documented charitable donations. In the 5 years preceding his run for the presidency, Trump gave about 120 million dollars to charity, including a 135 acre tract worth about 20 million to NY Division of Parks and sevices. That’s a fact. President Trumps foundation gave away more money than it took in. Unlike the Clinton foundation which gave about 5 cents on the dollar, and is the Clintons cash cow. Now go ahead and fact check me
@Philo Math ok, now maybe you educated youself
@Randy Smith Thanks for the compliment.
Or did you mean ” you *educate* yourself”? Will gladly educate myself on anything. What do you suggest?
Many examples of US meddling. Just google “US meddling”. I agree with Yang not singling out an example, that’ll do more harm than good.
Great answer by Andrew Yang and Great interview!

Just google “US meddling”.
100%!! Haha, let Google take the heat.
Trump voter, I like the Asian guy best of all the dems.
Remy D Never heard of her.
@aGUY
Bernie?
He’s way higher in the polls than Yang.
Yeah he doesn’t have experience in foreign policy, but he operates on data and logic, and his ideas are clear: end forever wars but do not leave allies behind. Foreign policy does not have as much room for innovation as domestic policy, and as president he will have many experts to refer to on the intricacies of foreign matters. But his UBI is the only program that will help 94% of our country and almost eliminate poverty at home, as well as provide safety nets for the millions who will and are losing their jobs to automation. I interviewed for a company in Chicago that is even automating mortgage lending. Aside from that, truckers, call center workers, cashiers, fast food preppers, delivery drivers, warehouse workers, truck stop workers. They’re all gonna lose their job in the next 10 years.
You may doubt that but that’s just because the AI has to be trained in the background before it can be sold and deployed. Machine learning literally does this itself, it’s how Teslas drive. The algorithm trains itself based on examples of correct actions that are provided (training data). It can train itself ad nauseam, forever, and get better and better
@pranay kumar velisoju here’s a video, think of how many people used to move these containers around..

What a mouthful of 🐂💩
@TheWin200000 I hope u right
To note, it can also learn thousands of times faster since the wiring is so much faster than our “wiring”. Basically the only advantage humans have is that our neural net processor can change it’s wiring while a machine’s wiring is static.
So glad Rachel is taking him seriously and giving him time. His ilk should be leading today, but certainly will be leading in the future.
@independentCog There are no wars, just policing actions which are necessary to prevent wars. Having America stop policing hot spots would be equivalent to disbanding your municipal, county, and state law enforcement entities. It would be nice to have just a bit more help.
@ruth depew If I felt confident that the two parties that make up our politics weren’t incompetent and that would we could handle what’s happening at home and abroad sure. I’ve yet to see that in my life. Took Elon Musk to get filtration systems into Flint schools and the infrastructure is rotting. We have an F rating. Education is constantly being gated towards people with higher incomes. The list of dysfunctions is staggering and the brainwashing runs really deep regarding people thinking they are nothing more than widgits to be used. I’m not going to agree with your stance on this.
@independentCog Is Putin paying you for all this doom and gloom. American government was at its finest during the depression. A step backward facilitates a leap forward. We we not out of the depression when WWII hit, yet we the people accelerated into our finest hours.
@ruth depew I honestly feel sorry for Maddow’s audience. You’ve completely let Trump define who you are.
The moral of the story: Defending the indefensible has a limited “shelf life!” The Trumptanic and all her passengers and acolytes is sinking to the bottom of the Ocean. R.I.P.
Hahahahaha, Maddow has been telling you lies for years now. The moral of the story is MSNBC is selling you hate.
I’m for Bernie but this guy would be my 2nd choice. Would much rather prefer him to any of the corporate dems.
Bernie Sanders buy Advertisements from Corporates Media to spread and Andrew Yang don’t spend money on Corporate Ads. Yang is the Real Democratic Candidate.
Thats great. I’m the reverse but either one I’m okay with tbh.
Andrew is the first Trump is 2nd Bernie wants everyone to have a job Andrew with $1000 a month will make a better impact for the economy the money will recycle
@Dave R I was for Bernie in 2016, sent him money and he turned around and got backstabbed by Hillary but then campaigned for her. I was livid. Bernie is now too old to run, he missed his chance. An almost 80 year old looking in the mirror every morning and thinking he could handle the presidency is running on ego and slighted ambition, not common sense. It makes me question his judgement. Look at what Jimmy Carter said – no way!
People need to take the time to read Yang’s ideas. Some are really impressive. He needs to be paired with someone with strong foreign policy and political knowledge.
Yang/Tulsi ticket. Tulsi has always been on board with Yang’s idea, also has a strong grassroot base and has relevant military experience in the middle east theatre. Yang himself also said he would prefer a female running mate to balance things out
Why is Maddow trying to bait Yang into naming a specific country? For a negative headline and talking point about Yang? Andrew’s too smart though.
💯
Agree with you
She was looking for a headline.
Anyone who knows any history knows the US has interfered in so many nations in regards to elections
It’s laughable for someone to not know that and have a high-school diploma
@Moe That’s why he laughed when she pressed him on it.
Because CNN is against any candidate for the 99%
@Moe She has a PhD in Politics as a Rhodes scholar from Oxford. For her to ask that question when she knew the answer is dishonest and disingenuous. She was trying to trap him into what many people would say was badmouthing the country he wants to lead. https://www.globalresearch.ca/us-interfered-in-elections-of-at-least-85-countries-worldwide-since-1945/5601481
Moe I’m sure he knew. But he realizes most Americans still believe we are the good guys and aren’t ready to be slapped with the harsh reality of the shadowy doings of our government all over the world.
Im a simple man I see yang i press like
When there is Salsa classes in Afghanistan it’s time to leave
Yang always answered really tough questions with thoughtful and honest answers. The solutions he proposing will benefit all Americans. #yang2020 #YoutubeAndrewYang
“Domestic Renewal” I like the sound of that.
“He’s like a creature that needs attention to grow.” And the media keeps the creature fed. Thanks, MSNBC. Yang is right. He’s the leader we need right now.
ya Don’t feed the trolls.
Why is all mainstream media tryna make yang talk about trump when he clearly sees no point in it?
Literally all his other conversations are about moving society forward but all they wana do is talk smack abt trump.. does absolutely nothing to bring him down if his name is in news media constantly
Interesting… Our foreign policy reflects or domestic situation. We’re disintegrating at home 😣
Yang makes more sense the more you listen to him … he is now a national player and will remain so … yang has a unique and positive vision …
except for the fact that UBI is basically saying to people “hey, I’ll give you 12 grand a year so you can barely survive for the rest of your life.” Yeah…. positive.
Yeah you’re right. People having 12k/year free and clear would really hurt them. Better that things stay as they are. 👍
“We need to get him out of the Office as soon as possible”…absolutely right Mr. Yang.
I just pressed “like” #yang2020
Yang is the voice of reason. He’s intelligent, articulate, insightful. Certainly a leader the US should tap for the future.
