More than two decades after Adnan Syed was sentenced to life in prison and eight years after the shaky case against him became the center of the hit podcast "Serial," a Baltimore judge on Monday ordered that Syed’s conviction be vacated and he walked out of court a free man.
There were cheers inside the court as officers unleashed Syed's shackles.

I read through the whole podcast, and I never thought he was innocent. His conversations came across as very educated and lawyer-like, and he didn’t answer questions directly.
hes not innocent though, Jay knew where the car was and therefore was involved in last seeing Hae, the only other reason could be two and two.. Adnan and Jay perpetrated the crime
listening to the podcast for the first time right now, only 1.5 episodes in so maybe I haven’t been able to gather all of the info to create a definite opinion on his innocence, but I find it strange that someone who claims to be his best friend just testified and gave police all the info they needed regarding a crime that he was an accomplice in. it just seems incriminating and strange, almost as if he wanted to set Adnan up. again, maybe I’m missing something so correct me if I am, but that just seems odd to me.

Most likely, Syed did murder Hae Lee. “The Baltimore City Police Homicide Division received an anonymous phone call on February 12 suggesting that the investigators should focus on Lee’s ex-boyfriend and classmate, Adnan Syed. People are so gullible, they’ll believe anything if it’s spread around enough. This reminds me of the Steven Avery case where people are fooled into believing he’s innocent; it’s too bad this guy actually got out.
