  1. I’m British and this counter offensive has brought tears of joy to my eyes. Especially a video I saw of Ukrainian civilians cheering AFU soldiers driving along the road of towns they have liberated. Slava Ukraine

    1. And you know there is a massive and active resistance to Putin regime
The problem will be untangling the payment routes

    2. @Mitch Davis “who else do you think could take the reigns that would be more ambitious and aggressive as Putin? ”

I don’t know but it is unlikely Putin is surrounded by moderate waiting to takeover.

    3. There are close to 2000 districts. Every action by Putin has gotten admonishment from some of them. This is nothing new for them

  2. Those who signed the petition are in great danger now.

    Hoping they succeed.

Dear Russian citizens. Unite, unite unite!!!

    1. @Pasindu Ileperuma not pissed in the slightest. I don’t live in an unstable country. Living in the greatest country in the world is awesome. Sorry you’ll never know what that’s like. If you’d like me to send you a few dollars to feed your family, let me know. I’ll help you out 😉

    2. @tivan if ur 18 or older ur paying extra taxes for outside countries survival, america is rich so were good but we can be more rich, like maybe our poor areas getting that good tax money instead

    1. The polititian everther are just like here. They are oportunistic and they just do what’s covenirnt for themsef. Just like Trump and company. They are low down people.
Don’ believe that there is any difirence. !

  3. “Local Russian officials die in mysterious circumstances” lol, on serious note though, this is prime example of how not all Russians side with Putin or go along with his behavior/choices, we just need more of these people to speak up

    1. If Putin has never considered Ukraine as a real country, then why did he accept the return of the nuclear weapons stationed in Ukraine, after the breakup of the Soviet Union?

    2. @David Banner You must have replied to the wrong comment because neither of us mentioned anything like that lol

    1. I like the one that says the guy killed his own family with a gun then shot himself In the back of the head. Clearly murder suicide lol

    1. Why do you imagine their motivation is anything but resentment of Russian military failure? Why do you imagine everyone who opposes Putin is not WORSE due to being more competent? Every one of those pols rose through the Russian system of government as predation.

  4. And the word of the day is “defenestration” – something that seems to happen to so many Russians who criticize Putin.

  5. We thought the Russian army is 2nd strongest in the world, now we know they are 2nd strongest in Ukraine. Slava Ukraine

  6. It’s not deputies or officials who’re calling for Putin’s resignation, it’s ex-deputies who may have done skydiving out of high rise buildings.

    1. He only cares about himself. Children aren’t a threat to him. These low (local) officials aren’t that worrying to him either, but a fire can start with just a spark. If this anti-Putin movement spreads and this fire grows out of control, he’ll has to respond if he wants to continue his megalomaniac behaviour.

  7. Well, putin put russia in a weak spot. The invasion was a catastrophe, and he wasted large amounts of military supplies that will take years to replenish. That alone puts Russia at risk of its own defense.

  8. I remember when there were American conservatives only a year ago who would praise Putin, calling him a strong leader and saying he’s a better leader than Biden, and similar talking points. Look at how low their authoritarian man-crush has fallen lol

    1. @Joe Soto stay on topic. Peace talks and diplomacy with Russia aren’t the problem. It was Republicans siding with Putin over our own US political figures and national interests that was the problem. If Obama was going to Russia to celebrate 4th of July like Republican politicians did or Obama constantly agreed with Putin’s interests over our own US Republican politicians then you could criticize Obama and claim your “But both sides!” bs. Call me when Obama withholds aid from Ukraine because their leader refused to make up dirt about Trump and sides with Russia over the annexation of parts of Ukraine
