I thought the whole thing was supposed to be about him having Top Secret, Secret, and Confidential documents in his possession. Where in the Executive Previledge clause it states former presidents can exert that to keep those types of materials in their possession after they leave office?

What case law “narrowly” says a former president can say he has executive privilege, especially when the current president says he has it?
The narrow scope is that the current executive has the right to assert privilege over materials regarding the previous presidency, particularly in communications with Congress. Which is irrelevant in this case, and Trump doesn’t have the authority to invoke it anyway.
