The FBI interviewed former White House Counsel Pat Cipollone and his former deputy Patrick Philbin earlier this year as part of the investigation into federal records taken to Donald Trump's Palm Beach home, two people briefed on the matter said. #CNN #News

“When stupidity is considered patriotism, intelligent people are in danger”, Asimov.
@David Scott socialist communist policies , many military folks joined antifa that means nothing
“corn pop was a bad dude” – Joe Biden
@Real life unions aren’t perfect but they created and strengthened the middle class. You sound like a slave owner or want to be one.
Trump, you’ll get your chance to see the affidavit. Afterward.
@bianca You are right Bianca. Teach them about right and wrong. They seem to be lacking in their thinking.
McCabe looked so excited before speaking. I would be too after the bs he had to go through. Justice needs to come back .
@5 Celebrate? She keeps her JOB until January next year! You’re celebrating getting the plastic off the checkers box while Cheney plays CULT45 destruction CHESS for another 5 months. LOL!!!
@5 so wrong,so wrong.
@Mike C Who are you talking about?
Did you ever take into consideration as possibility, that the last boxes of documents picked up by the FBI on 8 August, actually contain photocopies of the initially returned documents, photocopies made at Mar a Lago with the obvious intention to own those secret information? If this variant will be proven true, will worsens and complicate the legal responsibility of each of the implicated persons
@Matthew Hanna he admitted to taking the documents so how can it be BS he broke the law
@Wayne Bond let me just ask you something is Hillary in jail
@steve springer but see he did commit a crime that’s what this video was about he took documents that don’t belong to him
@Pam Jones What video? I was responding to the original comment in this string, by c soare, about the possibility of photocopies. That’s a “what if”. I agree that having the documents is a crime. “What ifs” are speculation and not a crime.
“Oh, what a tangled web we weave, when first we practice to deceive!” (Sir Walter Scott, 1808)
I love it: “It’s like a law school exam question where you have to list all of the crimes which have been committed.”
@Linas Zubrickas when did he attempt to steal classified government documents?
@Denise B it’s called executive privilege
@Denise B clear?
@Pam Jones no. It’s called executive privilege.
I don’t think Trump will be stressed out until he’s in handcuffs. Decades of fliouting the law with no criminal accountability have led to this.
@kenneth eginton Already answered above.
@kenneth eginton that’s the point. They don’t disolve charities and businesses for nothing.
Rudy’s attorney told him to take the Fifth. Rudy looked at the bottle and said “They promised I am getting a whole case.”
🤣🤣🤣
@Deb Lancaster The “Fifth” refers to the Fifth Amendment which guarantees that an individual cannot be compelled by the government to provide incriminating information about himself. A “fifth” is also a volume of a distilled beverage (a fifth of whiskey, let’s say). And here there’s a play on the word “case” (lawsuit) versus a case (container) of those distilled beverages.
Hope that helps! ☺️
@Deb Lancaster It really makes no sense because trump doesn’t drink alcohol.
@Bird 🇺🇦 Brain now it makes perfect sense, Rudy is a drinker I’ve read😂 I did not get it all at! THANK YOU!
@Deb Lancaster You’re more than welcome! 😊
You wouldn’t show the affidavit to Al Capone or the mafia now would you? It’s outright dumb and stupid to expect anything more than a heavily redacted version at best!
@Coralee Owens Miller At least you took time for a thought out response, although typically you cherry pick facts to flesh out the same old talking points. I’m not going to go back and forth with you — ain’t got the time, but you should re-read the U.S. Constitution. And by the way, you might want to look up a thing called States’ Rights — right wingers claimed that’s what the Civil War was about, lol. Also note: the United States is and was always a democratic Republic. So you might want to check that Woodrow Wilson reference there.
@Coralee Owens Miller And what does any of that have to with the Law withholding its affidavit until it charges someone with a crime? Absolutely nothing! So what was the point of that non-sequitur?
@Keith Allen it was a part of a conversation.
@Keith Allen constitional republic
@Coralee Owens Miller Good Lord, you’re correcting me and you couldn’t even spell Constitutional? SMH
“ It is easier to fool people than to convince them they’ve been fooled.” – Mark Twain
“From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.” Matthew 4:17
“Ye have heard that it hath been said, An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth: But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also.” Matthew 5:38-39`
Must be a lot of fools in Liz Cheney’s state 🙄
The moral of today’s quote is to watch how you speak to others. This is especially important in a business setting. Let me explain.
The wiser the person, the more self-aware they are with themselves. These people know that they aren’t perfect, have an understanding of their flaws, and usually don’t mind being called out on something having to do with their flaws. This is especially true if presented as constructive criticism. But either way, wise people tend to be able to shrug things off easier.
On the other hand, fools tend to think that they are always right and see no room for improvement. When you bring up a subject to them that is contrary to their belief, they will immediately go on the defense or even blame you. Since they are not wise, they do not have the self-awareness to see where they have made mistakes. And they certainly cannot accept that they need to make improvements.
Can you identify a wise man and a fool in your restaurant? I bet so! Will you know better now how to deal with them? I sure hope so! Are there times you have allowed your ego to get in the way?
If the fool comes to the conclusion that he can never reach the level of development and prestige, he can fall into violence.
People hate perfect people, but they want to be perfect themselves.
I appreciate Cohen because he did his time and never said he wasn’t wrong.
@David Scott no David I mean like anyone caught performing a coup and hiding nuclear secrets
Cry me a river…..
@David Scott you mean like my name is David and all I know how to do is take like because I’m desperate and scared and if I bring up Clinton and Hunter then I get to push away all the attention from Trump
Let’s not forget, this dude said he trusts Putin over US intelligence.
@AJ you’re going to be singing “Hail to The Chief” 🎼 When Trump wins! 🇺🇸 It’s a real toe tapper 😉
@Richard Holly not looking for your speculation…because as it sits right now, things aren’t on the upswing for him 😘
You’re already singing it while curled up in a little ball in the corner, sista 🥴
@Manuel Feliciano
What made you so sure they were merely communications with people? Were these communications involved high degree of national security? If so, they would be characterized as Classified. Indeed your speculation of the sensitive material was as good and as far-fetched as mine.
That it’s mine comment reminds me of Jared saying “it’s ours” when asked by governors to distribute the PPE national stockpile.
Jared? The landlord turned out to be an expert in middle east overnight.😂😂😂😂
Those 2 billion he got from the Saudis…
The whole family was under the delusion that America belonged to them and that they would be a monarchy.
@Mr Conlan yep,that Jared. Not the Subway sandwich Jared.
@Toradog What do you mean WAS?
I saw that live and couldn’t believe it then!
When caught red-handed, attack the investigators because you can’t attack the evidence of your guilt.
@Coralee Owens Miller 😂 That is the last of his 15 excuses. Why wasn’t it his first? He just threw out excuses to see which ketchup sticks to the wall for which people. This obviously worked for you.
A judge summed it up best 2 years ago when he said something to the effect of ‘a disturbing pattern of behaviour’.. he nailed it.
@Follower of Jesus Christ we are in a spiritual war
The LESSON for all of us, don’t be greedy criminal bad, lying guy or KARMA WILL SLAP YOU ALL THE DAYS OF YOUR MISERABLE LIFE.
@Vatican Cameos Hillary to a T
@I’m the bad guy? You might be asleep for a long long long time.
When the client tries to get the attorney to commit crimes there is no attorney client privilege end of story
Good point.
“They are not theirs, they’re mine!”
That is the clearest demonstration yet that Trump is insane.
@AJ it’s not my job to prove you wrong. It’s your job to educate yourself
@J Kristal wait, so when did he declassify them? Usually there is a log and papertrails, where soon thereafter they become public domain. Can you show us when this occured?
Cry a river
@J Kristal Hard to declassify anything we don’t have class just saying
See Donald, it’s not a “witch hunt.” It’s a “which hunt.” As in “Which crime are we talking about this week?”
I wish I would have come up with this one lol
😂
🤣🤣🤣OMG, YOU HAVE WON COMMENT OF TODAY 🤣🤣🤣🤣
How many people were wondering what crime or crimes were the reason for the search before the warrant came out…..the list of potential charges with this nutjob would cover many pages
Good one!
How, in the first place, could documents which must never be removed from a secure room be lying around to be taken to Mar a Lago ?
Surely the removal from the secure room is worth investigating ? It shouldn’t have been possible in the normal course of events, so must have been a deliberate act.
Remember presidents have a lot of freedom. In this case, too much.
Because Don The Con believed he had the power, to declassify highly classified documents! In other words, he has the documents brought to him. Claims theyr’e no longer classified. So, theyr’e coming with me!
@blkmacster In a court of law, facts do matter.
You mean I can’t take whatever I want out of a store and tell the police, “It’s not theirs, it’s mine”? What’s this country coming to?
No…and I’d you then try to make a profit by selling the goods in to third parties that is a a second crime, and if those third parties are inimical to the nation, then that is yet another and much more serious crime.
Some say….some pay.
