Massive explosions and fires ripped through Crimea on Tuesday, forcing evacuation of 3,000 residents as the Ukraine war appears to be spreading to the peninsula occupied by Russia since 2014.

The Russian Defense Ministry blamed "sabotage" for explosions at a military warehouse near Dzhankoya. Power lines, a power plant, a railway track and a number of residential buildings were damaged, the ministry said in a statement obtained by the Russian news outlet Kommersant. The explosion was described as a diversion.
No serious injuries were reported. Another fire was reported at a power substation, but officials did not indicate whether it was related to the ammunition blast. “We are in a state of emergency,” said Sergey Aksenov, the Russian leader of the Crimean administration.
Ukraine presidential adviser Mykhailo Podolyak did not claim Ukraine responsibility for the incident but tweeted that “Crimea occupied by Russians is about warehouses explosions and high risk of death for invaders and thieves.”

I visited Russia back in 1994 and they had large groups of people sweeping the streets with brooms that looked like antiques from the dark ages. This is not a very organized or technical country. Someone probably threw a lit cigarette in the wrong place.
Especially after a few swigs of smirnov. I don’t know Russian but some sailors that came into “my” bar years ago referred to both Vodka and also water as Smirnoff. I don’t know if they ever found their way back to the ship. Back then Ukrainians and Russians were on the same ships. They could’ve bought several bottles for the price off all the shots. After awhile I started just pouring them straight Vodka into larger glasses so I didn’t need to hover around them and get forced into matching them shot for shot. Yeah, sloppy drunks.
Definitely not a shopping mall or apartment building.
Coughing from the smoke fragments of projectiles flying straight at them& they just stand there recording it with not a care in the world.
OMG! That’s friggin’ beautiful! Can’t wait to hear Russia blame this on themselves! _SLAVA UKRAINI !!_

Somebody needs to make a video of that. Great for morale.
Them Hi Mars are paying for themselves 20 times over, send the Ukrainians more, and the longer ranged ones, and crank up the production lines, very good work.

The only thing that could make that video better is if it had happened in Moscow
Putin “It was a special military training exercise”

Pro tip: If you stand on the other side of the road, then no vehicles will pass in front of the camera to block the shot.
That’s a pretty easy one to figure out, guys c’mon..
