The FBI sought to locate classified documents related to nuclear weapons, among other items, when agents searched former President Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago resort in Palm Beach, Florida, this week, people familiar with the investigation told The Washington Post.
The people did not offer additional details to the Post about "what type of information the agents were seeking" or whether any such documents were recovered, according to the paper.

They can refer the matter to other agencies for those agencies to act on, but of themselves, the committee can’t act on their own findings – well, maybe except to create legislation based on those findings, which is a slow process that Moscow Mitch would eventually block anyway. 😅

You should be asking yourself why it’s taken so long, if these documents are so top secret (as nuclear weapons documents would be), for them to retrieve them. Especially when they told Trump to put an extra lock on the storage area 2 months ago. Why didn’t they just take the documents then?
