i salute this representative standing up for her people in face of such discrimination and racism …its a shame that the president is not worthy of the office , whilst she is doing her best for her own public …..sad to see the puerto rican’s treated again as second class citizens considering their sacrifice in so many wars for america, and they have only received attention from the corporate exploiters for their pains :(… If was them , i would go push for the greenland swap deal , as at least the dane’s would treat them fairly 🙂

According to US news website Axios, the president said in a meeting with top national security and homeland security officials about the threat of hurricanes: “I got it. I got it. Why don’t we nuke them?”
“They start forming off the coast of Africa, as they’re moving across the Atlantic, we drop a bomb inside the eye of the hurricane and it disrupts it. Why can’t we do that?”
Quoting unnamed sources who were present at the meeting, Axios report that the response from one official was “We’ll look into this.”
On Sunday, the White House declined to comment on the Axios report. “We don’t comment on private discussions that the president may or may not have had with his national security team,” it said.

Axios reported that Trump raised the same issue on another occasion with a senior administration official. This conversation was apparently recorded in a 2017 national security council memo which used the term “nuclear” in reference to the conversation.
Axios quoted a senior official who defended Trump’s ability to ask tough questions: “His goal – to keep a catastrophic hurricane from hitting the mainland – is not bad. His objective is not bad.”
Shortly after Trump came to power National Geographic published an article pointing out how frequently the idea of nuking hurricanes has been raised over the last few decades. “It’s an appealing thought,” it said, “especially when, during hurricane season, we’re annually reminded of the immense destruction wrought by these storms.
“And it’s probably why, every year for the past six decades, government agencies have received missives from concerned citizens, urging preemptive attacks against hurricanes using nuclear weapons.”
In the article, Nuking Hurricane: The Surprising History of a Really Bad Idea, the magazine pointed out that the response from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration was: “Needless to say, this is not a good idea.”

Some of his supporters will take it as a sign from god that Trump is not chosen.
He will make himself an exception and reassign enough of the lost FEMA funds to his property while also collecting insurance.
He has hurricane insurance but does he have flood insurance? hurricane insurance does not cover flooding caused by the hurricane.
That was how a lot of people lost their homes the last time a hurricane hit North and South Carolina, just a few years ago.
Doral has been losing money because of the bed bugs (they were real, he lost the lawsuit about them) and hundreds of unresolved health and safety violations on the property.
That and his bad name has caused his big money maker to become a loser. He is hoping that having the G7 there will make it a winner for him, again.
The House should start diverting funds away from the white house. Let the “billionaire” blowhard pay for all his and his staffs transportation/Living costs like every American must do. He’s living on welfare while in the white house. If he did a presidential job then it’s ok, but he’s not doing a job. Too busy tweeting, and watching tv. Cut as much funds from the white house and any department that is diverting funds for his “wall”.

The only way that these United States of America is going to even “survive” Trump is if Moscow Mitch and Putrified Pelosi are removed from their positions immediately and the rest of Congress moves swiftly and deadly to block and stop every illegal move that Trump is doing!
