I want REPERATIONS for my 4th Great Grandfather who died freeing the slaves.
Give us the name of one slave ur grandpa freed? Just one! What about the millions of white traitors who fought for slavery? Not to mention hundreds of thousands of freedmen who slaughtered them in defense of the nation and the rights that you enjoy today. But those heroic black soldiers didn’t receive equal pay to their white counterparts. Your simple logic would reward the Nazi for freeing the Jews. Stupid, plain and simple.
We need to stop replying to the white people who oppose reparations obviously 🙄 their not that bright. Even with all the handouts and helping hands you all are the most ignorant of them all,but then again having ancestors who crawled on all fours would make you a little silly 😂
@coptic777 England paid reparations to Slave owners in Jamaica – this isn’t about England. Next you’ll claim the US paid 300.00 per slave to the slave owners in 1862….. this is why you shouldn’t get your history from twitter.

what about the Africans who ancestors were the ones raiding villages and selling those people into slavery? shouldn’t we collect reparations from them?

Yep, wait until the slavery reparation seekers find out the legislation will be written (if it even gets that far) to include ILLEGALS and the ABC people too! That way the Dems – when called to account for why reparations failed can point and say nah ah we tried, but the Republicans stopped us. This time around the Black voters are waking up to the dems – they’re not falling for it. Oh the other dem tactic will be a STUDY! Reparations don’t go to descendants of slaves, they are going to people whose skin is the same color as the slaves. I’m white so I get reparations from Rome and the Muslims.

I don’t believe Lee has no clue. I think America is ready to move on from the civil war and stop using slavery every election as a crutch to buy votes. Perhaps if Lee contributes to the ancestors of those who fought and died serving the Union Army to end slavery then she could have an argument.
White people may be ready to move forward, but according to polls close to 70% of black people are in favor of reparations. And if we continue to support Isreal 70 years after the Holocaust and America didn’t have anything to do with the Holocaust, I say why not?
