I doubt that too, only because he doesn’t seem like someone who would be capable of lunging towards anything. The more important part of her testimony is witnessing him learn that the crowds coming to see him had weapons and him not minding because the weapons were “not for me”. We shouldn’t get caught up in whether or not he had a tantrum in his car.

Plus he would have to somehow get through the glass that separates the driver side to the limo itself. I just don’t get it. One thing that irritated me was the fact that yes protesters stormed the capital and destroyed stuff but what about the protesters that burned down buildings and destroyed property during the BLM? @RWZiggy so far, all the secret service has had to say is the agents are “available to testify”, meaning they’ve released them to appear, the decision still being up to them. The agents themselves have said nothing publicly to refute the allegations, only anonymous sources claiming they have. But, if we’re going to go there, there are multiple anonymous sources saying that the story has been going around among the secret service and captial police who work with them since the day it happened, only differing in details about trying to grab the wheel or assaulting the officer.

@RWZiggy You really are incredibly uninformed. Willing or cooperating witnesses do NOT get subpoenaed to appear. In rare instances where a person is trying to preserve invoking the 5th, they may require the committee subpoena the witness. Only unwilling, uncooperative or deliberately resisting or fighting being called or appearing as witnesses are subpoenaed.
Now onto the question of WHY Hutchinson appeared and divulged the info she did. Hutchinson attorney was being paid for by a firm that was receiving money from the Trump “Stop the Steal” legal defense fund scam. A supposed billionaire needs money to fund his frivolous legal challenges. Funny thing those challenges were so poorly articulated that they could have been written by paralegal trainee during the1st week on the job. Clearly, tRump did NOT spend any of that “fund” money on legal fees related to the filings.
So anyway, Hutchinson previous lawyer was spinning the committees wheels on whether she would provide testimony adverse to Trump. Two weeks ago, she switched lawyers and made arrangements to provide the testimony she gave. There is zero evidence that Hutchinson was seeking employment with Trump’s campaign or at Mar-a-lago. In fact, with her credentials she was already in the running for some well paying political consultant jobs or with NGO think tank organizations. Staying in Washington DC in the political arena given her youth would serve her long term interests. Staying with tRump is a dead end deal.

That’s been clear from the beginning, she never said or implied otherwise, and when she testified it was crystal clear to anyone that she was relating what she was told by someone else. Staff members routinely refer to whatever vehicle the President is in as “The Beast”, just as whatever plane he is on is “Air Force One”. And, no, neither Engel or Ornato has “come out and said” they told her no such thing. “Anonymous sources” say they are willing to testify and that’s what their testimony will be, but…as of yet, we have zero from the two of them.
