This is true compassion and advocacy in action. I don’t know how Matthew McConaughey was able to hold it together. I think he found his strength from the need to give a voice to the dreams of those slaughtered lambs, and for Irma & Joe. Giving the names of all the victims for the world to hear was needed. Let the lawmakers bow their heads and ignore their party colours but hear those names to do the right thing. Thank you, Matthew McConaughey!

This was the best bi-partisan plea. You can tell he respects gun owners, but also wants it harder to get guns.
This is 100% a spot on bullseye. Honest, poignant, meaningful words, testimony from those affected both directly and indirectly. Not a call for the outlaw of guns or AR platform rifles. But real ways to put an end to this. Hopefully it doesn’t fall on deaf ears.
