Looking at Jamaica’s high crime rate we are truly deeply saddened, disappointed and of course angry about the senseless and horrific murders and shootings that is being allowed to take place. Is the business of importing illegal guns and ammunitions into Jamaica so lucrative and so highly connected with political leaders and high society that non of our elected government is serious about stopping it? Is the gun trade connected to the drug trade? Is keeping political garrisons don system so important that our elected leaders don’t want to really cut ties with these criminals and gangs? So we watch daily as Jamaica sinks and the murders and shootings increase. What are we voting for? Where are the new crime laws? Will Jamaica ever be safe again so Jamaicans can be proud again?
