Hahaha. I knew about 3days in advance. CNN is just ridiculous. There were videos all over youtube of Zelensky saying Blinken and Austin were coming to Kyiv. Zelensky himself said it in two briefings and the interview he did in the train station. DW, Sky News and BBC even repeated Zelensky’s words of the visit. How is this “Unannounced”? I’ve been seeing headlines on it for nearly a week now. This Admin has been advertising everything we do including where our soldiers are going what supplies are going where, even telling the world when to expect them.

@7inrain True as a German I wouldn’t vote CDU (don’t hate them, they are just a bit to conservative for me) but I would not vote SPD to save my life. I suppose I’d pick the Greens they seem to realise what the stakes are and that you can have a strong army without using it to invade all and sundry. I’m starting to wish Joschka Fischer would come out of retirement.

The Allies have to make sure that Ukraine is weoll supplied, armed with real potent armament and that is what will prevail in the end. Ukraine have to be able to stop the long range cruise missiles Russia is using, also Ukraine have the home field advantage, just give them the right equipment and training and will see them no only winning in Donbass, but also taking back the Crimean peninsula, other than that they will set themselves for a long protracted war

To all of the people claiming that it “wasn’t unannounced”, you weren’t listening. They announced it AFTER THE FACT. They didn’t reveal they were going to be there until after they had already been there and if you had heard that being said at any point you would know that.
