I was never a hockey fan nor know anything about it , but knew Guy Lafleur was up there with the best of them , like Wayne Gretzky- ” The Great One” .
One of Quebec’s superpowers … producing world-class hockey players.
The goalies were really bad
Yeah I agree didnt move anywhere like today
No. They just had far less protection like the body armor they wear today.
Today the padding is bigger, but players today have other advantages like graphite sticks, less clutching, hooking and grabbing. It all balances out in the end.
@John also the goalies were not as big or as athletic today’s goalies, and they’re much more technically sound now
They were like table hockey goalies
Feels so wrong bossy Lafleur same week
Rest In Peace Guy!πππΌππ¨π¦
Great player I think hes in the hall of fame no?
1 of 3 elected to the hall and then returned to playing. Gordie Howe and Mario Lemieux are the two others.
Since 1988
There have been a few better players to play in the NHL but there was never anyone more exciting. He was something else.
Can barely hear that woman
What a gentleman, clean cut, no beard, no tatoos, generous to his fans, a fine example to his generation of young fans. May you rest in peace, well deserved. Love you Guy.
