There are so many self serving people on the planet in leadership positions at this time in history. It is beyond a breath of fresh air to watch and listen to President Zelenskyy, his modesty, his courage, his sense of humour, his great heart, a man who truly walks the talk. @tj ward You need to understand human relations more. Ukraine did not want to escalate tensions. It’s not that they didn’t believe the US intelligence, but rather, they don’t want the US to keep saying it because it is escalatory. If you were Russia, how would you feel if your “supposed enemy” were openly agreeing with an invasion, start stacking arms everywhere, etc.? If you knew about all of this, you’re more likely to pounce and pounce sooner because it creates more tension. Downplaying it buys a bit more time to plan and low-key train your army and gather more weapons, and perhaps a chance to avoid it altogether.

I’m crying watching this😢I was a child of war 45 years ago ( Khmer Rouge ). Almost half of the people died during this period and lasted almost 4 years. I know what Ukrainian people are going through 😢Praying for Ukrainian 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽Stay strong😢❤️

Everytime I hear President Zelensky speak, I’m always struck by the same impression, such honesty and compassion for all people, if all leaders were like him this world would be such a better place. It was so great to see some joy in his face while talking about his children Slava Ukraini
His children are not in the war. They are luxuriously and safely comfortable. Unlike the hundreds and thousands of Ukrainian children chased out of their homes into the dangerously unknown.
