This was murder.
@6Kings who ever he was he must have someone on the police radar for crimes they couldn’t catch him for.
How do we know? It didn’t show the shooting.
@6Kings Unannounced? You must not have watched the video.
@Rick Long Says the video.
@Eye of Horus he wasn’t even the suspect, his name wasn’t on the warrant.
Any trained firearm user would understand that his “trigger control” was perfect and he was no immediate threat.
Lmao
Finger straight on the barrel, not on the trigger until he needs to pull it. Yessir it’s perfect. There are many responsible gun owners who would have done exactly what he did having just woken up not knowing what’s going on
I thought No-knock warrants were done away with, except in extreme cases. Lindy even did a song of this like 15 years ago. Also judges need to be held accountable when they sign off on a bad warrant.
@722Moo Ofcourse when you watch Foxnews & Newsmax you become a sheep and see everything thru with 1 glass lense
@Zain Zoala hey bozo, which state was the first state to introduce a bill to make no knock warrants illegal? Oh right, Kentucky. A red state.
How many Republicans have some sort of control in Minneapolis? Absolutely 0. Its all run by Demokkkrats who want to take your gun away and arm the police. What happened in this situation? A no knock warrant in a demokkkratic city and state.
Well, Republicans tried to ban them outright, but democrats blocked it and said it was racist
@Zain Zoala actually, according to the stats, people who watch fox news are more likely to listen to many other sources as well, whereas Democrat and left wing people tend to only get their news from echochambers
Every case is an extreme case when dealing with poverty stricken & over policed areas
He was not a suspect in the search warrant and was allowed to carry the legal firearm. He bought the gun to protect himself from the recent spike in carjacking around the area. The city truly failed him.
“The city truly failed him.” I would say his turd of a relative who was wanted in connection with a homicide investigation failed him.
@Archimedes616 that too. But also there have been many cases of police doing raids on wrong homes and hurting innocent people. No knock warrants Need to be banned for good. BeCause you never know yo parents may be some wanted serial killer like the BTK killer’s daughter was and they raided the home with her not knowing about her own fathers history. Everyone has secrets
@Archimedes616 blaming the victim? Nice
@722Moo Hey man I get it that your life isn’t going the way you intended it to…but spending a majority of your time online trying to make friends isn’t working too hot.
@Garrick Thomas “blaming the victim? Nice” The turd with the warrant is the victim? I thought the guy who got shot was the victim.
This could have ended differently. I think there was no actual plan to take him in peacefully.
@Marsh where was he trying to kill an officer??
@Marsh how is he supposed to know they are police?
If your answer is: they announced themselves
My rebuttal would be: are police officers the only ones with vocal chords able to say that they are the police?
No knock warrants are unconstitutional. It is the fault of mpd for insisting on a no knock warrant. It is the fault of legislators for making laws that are unconstitutional. It is the fault of the supreme court for not striking down no knock warrants. And finally, the last line of defense was the police who were told to perform this action. It is unconstitutional, but they are upholding it anyway.
@Marsh what choice u saw in video dummy, clearly he was startled outta sleep
@ImGodsSon 19 the choice not to point a gun at a group of obvious Police officers announcing themselves
News outlets can’t just be objective anymore. Using phrases like “police say…” instead of “police claim” or leaving out specific info that would dispute or challenge their narrative.
Police are not to claim but say because they are making personal observances. Otherwise, judges would not need to make decisions after gaining evidence. Police should never claim but say in writing.
THIS SHINES A BAD LIGHT ON LAW ENFORCEMENT😒……How are they hiring cowards to do a JOB that’s requires Bravely & Honor. But yet they hire Trigger happy KILLER’S. Fire Fighters don’t go into burning buildings because they fear for their lives.
the problem with no knock warrants is that every person has the right to defend themselves with lethally if someone breaks into their house.
True but think about this if they knocked there is no way of knowing if the dude on the couch with a gun in his hand would of just started shooting at cops there were there looking for homicide suspects so ya no knock was the right choice
Even with a knock warrant, they are breaking down the door step 2
@Lezo Brandon but the sad part he wasn’t even the individual they’re looking for, and he did not even have a police record.
Clearly had a gun in his hand and this is edited version the way you cut it off
@M H doesn’t matter you can’t point a gun at the cops period and they announced he came out under the covers with a gun pointed at the police great example of why no knock warrants work
@David Heffron ya watched another video in slow motion clear as day he had a gun and pointed at officers than was shot
@Lezo Brandon Nope. You’re lying. There really is nothing you bootlickers won;’t say, eh?
@Lezo Brandon bro was sleeping and the bust in his door and you want him to be self aware????????
I swear man yall make excuses for anybody that did something wrong to my people 🤣🤣
I’d love to see a cop try this at my home.
I’m a light sleeper and a great shot.
You’d also be murdered by the cops.
Good luck , you’d only get one shot off
@Chuck Miller Not if I ambush them. They send 4 cops, and that’s 4 dead pigs before they even get my door open.
Unless you’re John wick you wouldn’t have a chance, because you may hit one or two but there’s multiple police officers. They won’t stop until their clips are empty.
I hate the idea of a no knock warrant. You’re supposed to differentiate in the dark between cops and burglars claiming to be cops?
Murder by officer is not a crime in the United States.
What world do we live in?
Waking up out of you sleep one could get “Police Search Warrant” mixed up with “The ice that’s in your safe is wanted.” No knock warrant got to be the most foolish tactical operation known to man. I can think of 1000 things that can go wrong.
makes no sense alle policemen shouting at the same time different things. if i would sleep i would think its a robbery.
Shot him for no reason!!!!!! Wth !!!!!!! Smh!!! This must stop!
After viewing this video. How can some still backed the cops? First off they lied and said he POINTED the gun at them. How are they going to explain that? Secondly, how is it illegal to have a registered gun in yr own home? Half of you backing the cops probably have a gun in yr home but still saying it was reasonable. As the video shows. They use a key to enter yelling while he was sleep. Are we not supposed to be aloud to protect ourselves in our own home? If anyone breaks into yr home like that and you’re a registered gun owner none of you can’t say you wouldn’t get yr gun.
That judge that put his name on that paper needs to be held liable too.
Not many people are completely aware of anything when woken from a dead sleep. Imagine all the veterans that fight when woken too fast 🤦🤷♂️😞😞😞
It’s sad that nowadays it’s just abt protecting criminals man’s had a gun and wasn’t sleeping he heard search warrant and he got the gun no excuses smh
These warrant are awful when you bust in someone’s place you never know whoms really in that house to open fire on them.landlord gave them key to door not knowing whom was in there.police need to do better investigations before moving in on these type warrants.kid looked to tires to shoot the game he was just barely holding it up not pointing at anyone.why we have to keep going thru this a mother losing her child to an officer for no reason.
