  1. I don’t want to waste class seems to come back with the new files that everyone is talking about and the case and the cases that that has been going on rapidly I don’t want to waste class seems to come back with the new files that everyone is talking about and the case and the cases that that has been going on rapidly everyday but some schools like special schools and house high schools are opening up their schools face to face and I don’t think it’s a good idea I just don’t like iteveryday0:24

  2. The school providence is opening back on Wednesday 5th to 5th I just wanted to see my friend goes to that school do you think they should be face to face or they are special children so the teachers I have been begging begging begging for this to happen but they really should continue continue on virtual classes they just need to be told by the appearance15:15

  3. Uno hafu guh close back the schools otherwise nuff students aguh infected by omricon not only them teachers to

  4. Everybody be careful and be positive ant things will work out.

  5. These doctors dont seem as if they know much, they just keeping repeating the same old wear mask, social distance etc….we are tired of hearing old thing.

  6. The next election should be about which party has the better crime plan. ZOZO and Curfew is only a temporary patch. Jamaica needs crime measures more stable and effective that will put a dent in guns coming into Jamaica. The current JLP needs to implement better strategies while in office to 1. Give back the police the running of the streets. 2. Better border control to stop the amount of guns and ammunition flowing into Jamaica. 3. Update the old laws to keep criminals permanently off the streets and doing hard labour and not ordering hits from their cells.
If the PNP as opposition don’t see these measures then they should start speaking them up as 1st thing they plan to do if they take office.
Jamaicans are fed up with Crime, Shootings, Killings, Murders and Gang violence. Too many innocent people being shot and killed. Too many youths gravitating to gangs and guns culture. All because politicians empower these dons and gang leaders to run communities and give them millions in government contracts, then the money is used to buy more guns and do hits. It started with politics and it can only and with politics. We Need A CHANGE

  7. The schools that are passed by the the ministry of health are very DIRTY, I donโ€™t know on what basis some of these schools got a passing grade.

  8. No fearmongering i have done my home work already. I donโ€™t listen to government and health minister the truth is out there all they doing is promoting the job ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ”ฅโšก๏ธ

  9. A great idea for face to face school except for one thing covid….but its good so that children cant find a excuse for not turning in work or they have internet issues…their device keeps dying….none of that and the children need to wear their mask and i know they didnt see their best friends or friends in a long while…so they will want to hug…they will want to talk and or sit together and they wont keep their distance but still a great idea

  10. School should not open at this time please we are asking for mercy on us we dont ready for face to face learning yet

  11. The honorable prime minister, Mr Andrew H. Are your children going to school? I don’t quite remember but aren’t they home schooled? Please tell me, why should I endanger the life of my children ( one of my children is in high school while the other is less than 6 months old) just because you want your party to win the local election which will be held later this year? I am assuming that you were advised that parents, teachers and other stakeholders in the education system wanted school reopened, but please reconsider your decision. Haven’t you realized, that the lastest variant of the COVID 19 seems to have a more harmful effect on children. If you check the statistics, a greater number of children haven been hospitalized due to the variant of the virus. So tell me, Mr. Prime minister, how does sending my child out in public – to school – while Omicron is spreading like wildlife in the country benefits my child? I don’t thinK many parents will be voting when they are concerned about the safety of their beloved children!!!

    1. @Livingston Are you telling me that I can keep my child home and continue with online classes? OK! I just thought that since the MOE, and the prime minister said it’s time to resume face to face classes, that online classes were a thing of the past?

  12. That guidance counselor that said they put 15 from 30 student in a class you can monitor them in class but can you monitor them outside of classroom

  13. The government doesn’t care about you all; the children’s are in great danger; but the government doesn’t care what happened to you.

    1. Probably this the government’s way of forcing parents to get their children vaccinated without making vaccination mandatory!!! JUST SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT.

  14. I do believe that schools should be reopened. There are so many unemployed people the government can deploy to do sanitizing and temperature checks at the gate, at the classroom doors and at break and lunch times. So that we parents can be ensure the safety of our children schools. Also, the transportation system really need to properly checked as well…. can get transportation police can be on the roads too to see of there’s overloaded persons.

    1. Where is the government going to get the money to pay these workers? Some of the reopened school aren’t even able to maintain the 6 feet distancing between the children? Rewatch the above program and pay close attention to the last school featured. The children are less than two feet apart. Two children are sitting on a bench that’s about 4 feet long.

  15. Thanks for sharing the news Miss Jamaica. It is much appreciated, although crime is still bad there. May God himself put a stop to it soon.๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ
