There is statistical evidence from the federal government from past administrations that show that a large hike in the minimum wage would kill jobs 1 mil – 3mill to be exact. It’s not the Senator McConnell doesn’t want a living wage for low income earning Americans. But in a time where the economy is booming a hike in the minimum wage would def hurt more than help.

This has nothing to do with slums in Baltimore. Trump is mad because Cummings called out the DHS chief for slum conditions in migrant detention centers. The head of DHS directly contradicted A DHS REPORT that said those places are “ticking time bombs”. We are paying private contractors $700 PER PERSON PER DAY to house detainees, and they won’t provide mattresses and soap.

My fellow American’s: Don’t forget Mr. Trump signed into law a tax cut of 1 1/2 TRILLION dollars that 87% of that cut went to the richest 5% of American’s. Mr. Trump will be one of the biggest beneficiaries of those tax cuts! That exploded our national debt to 22 TRILLION dollars. If that kind of money was flung out there so recklessly at least it should’ve gone to our inner cities like Baltimore.
