  1. That’s what you get when you build houses sitting in a lake bed, all the water did was to flow downhill to take back its land.

    1. @Karen Bishop It was a Lake. Sumas Lake was a shallow 134 sq km freshwater lake surrounded by extensive wetlands that once existed in eastern Fraser Lowland, located on the south side of the Sumas River between the foothills of the Sumas Mountain and Vedder Mountain. In 1924, the lake was drained and reclaimed in 1925 with the completion of the Vedder Canal and Sumas Pump Station, which diverted the Sumas River along four creeks to create tens of thousands of acres of farmland. Nature is reclaiming her own.

    1. and agricultural land, dairy farms and dead livestock…oh wait, you buy your milk and vegetables at the store right? 🙄 You’ll be paying a lot more for them now.

    2. @Ganieda Morgan that was coming anyway. i heard a report that said dairy up at least 20% by the end of January. i am betting now it will be 25 or 30 % if not more in the same time period.

  3. The rainstorm and the river are my brothers, the herron and the otter are my friends, we are all connected to eachother in a circle in a hoop that never ends

  4. It’s really happened ever since they cried wolf so many times. It’s a lake now. It’s like hurricane Katrina in New Orleans flooded.

    1. dude the Military will be lucky if it can muster its 4000 troops more likely it can only get half that, and even then can only do so for a short time due to both cost and most of those being reservists who have to get back to their regular jobs. Canada also does not have the money to run gulags, look how much federal prisons cost.

  5. but how fast did Horgan get that cancer surgically removed, when there are so many in canada who don’t get the same treatment, i guess they aren’t a politician so they must die in pain

  6. Then things happen this is Canadian so proud of you 👍 so kind

  7. Lake Abbotsford. This is what happens when you drain a natural lake to create farm land and you need to keep pumping to keep the water level down. The lake comes back eventually.
