An ideologue might be able to polish their arguments or recite facts that support their beliefs. But an ideologue can never change their opinion on something. Not really. Such people are beyond teaching because their entire worldview is based upon the other side being evil and them being good.

Has anyone considered the logistical issues with this mandate? Do we have enough nurses to test millions of people every week? Are businesses expected to ask every employee about their vaccination status? Are businesses expected to check test verification for millions of employees every week? Can (or must) businesses fire those who don’t have proof?

Not yet, but the more it spreads, eventually it will, which is why everyone needs to get vaccinated. We were lucky that the vaccine also covers delta, but eventually a variant will mutate that is resistant to our current vaccine. Then we’re back at square 1.

The vaccine is supposed to minimize the chances of cases being severe/fatal, but it does not stop transmission. But if what Biden just said is true, then yes, the vaccine is completely obsolete. But Biden seldom knows what he’s talking about.
