To their credit, though, the GQP is doing very well with the Mr Potato Head truthers, Chauvin apologists, and people worried that cheeseburgers are being banned. π π
Ain’t it a hoot?
Cutting beef back by 90%?
Never happens and isn’t something President Biden would be considering.
@Jamalynn Paris Loaf Takers
I’m waiting for the day for when people call foul play from no matter who it is but some people seem to be stuck on stupid on supporting their “gang” even when they are wrong on either side and a person that blames one party over the other is the most idiotic of them all.
LMAO!
Ah yes, all the important issues we need to address
The GOP is in a tough spot they just lost the last election
And the midterms before that, and the popular vote before that.
They lost the White House, the House and the Senate… not just the election.
Hopefully all the rest forever

President Biden nailed that speech with confidence and compassion. He talked a lot about Americans and helping Americans, not himself. Not red or blue, not Democrat or Republican. To Biden, itβs the United States. THAT is putting America first.
@Heather Melissa you think the tax raise will only touch households making $400k+/year, thatβs cute. You actually believe biden when he says that. He is lying dummy. Watch.
@Sean Hokanson Youre out of touch and operating on incorrect information and assumptions. Best wishes to you sir.
@Birthing Girdleβheβs gonna put yaβll back in changeβ explain to me the compassion and understanding in that line
@Sean Hokanson I don’t recall hearing him saying that but I will your word that he did. If so I would say it was a poor use of words and maybe an awkward attempt to somehow emotionally relate with Black people. But it is it is lucidly clear Biden is no bigot or rascist. Biden has a long history of credibility with the Black community. Some Black people actually sarcastically say things like that in a mocking way. I judge the man based on his actions and behavior. But I understand your point, though, and it is reasonable. If David Duke or Marjorie Taylor Green or Josh Hawley or someone like that used that or similar language it would have been different.
@Birthing Girdle why do you excuse such a nasty, racially divisive comment by saying itβs an βawkward attempt to relayed with black peopleβ. What gets you there? Heβs been a politician for 50 years, he knew what he was doing. How can I take your opinion seriously when you: have never heard of that comment, and you refuse to condemn it. He said that about Mitt Romney, the most milk toast republican ever, back in 2012 while on the campaign trail. There are many more where that came from. You say heβs been kind to the black community, right? Funny how he sponsored that anti-crime bill that disproportiontly locked up blacks back in 1994. Said he didnβt want a βracial jungleβ for our children. Kind to blacks you say?
You cannot work together when the other party don’t have a clue…no policy..no idea.
The “confederate-dixiecrat-republicans’ were NEVER a part of the, English American, Union in the first place, because they: the 1625, East Indian Dutch Company, and the German investors, did NOT come to the, English American territories, to help “To Form A More Perfect Union!…They came here to invest in, and to make money selling other humans into slavery!…, So it is no wonder that they did what they did at the Capital; and that they are at odds with, President Joe Biden!
Don’t worry, the gqp will continue with both the obstruction and the hate; it’s all they have
Throw them in prison, I bet they won’t obstruct anymore

It’s all Hitler and the Nazi’s had when they paralyzed the Reichstag and brought down the Wiemar Republic.
It’s difficult for the GOP to put together an agenda since they have no real platform.. The went with the platform of personality cult. It turned out to be an empty suit. They have nothing.

@Wolverine Hoosier hmm. I remember when Trump won the golden ticket and Republicans held the majority. Every troll from every corner of the earth took to social media to taunt the Democrats. It only took about 8 months or so before they were rolled over on their backs, feet flailing in the air, crying victim. The Democrats were doing this and that to them — and they were in power. So if I was waiting for the day that they would own their own crap I’d have to be pretty stupid.
βIf all you had ever felt toward another person were the cold wish to βwin,β how would you understand the meaning of love, of friendship, of caring? You would not understand. You would simply go on dominating, and denying, and feeling superior. Perhaps you would experience a little emptiness sometimes, a remote sense of dissatisfaction, but that is all.β

“You can easily judge the character of a man by how he treats those who can do nothing for him.”
β Johann Wolfgang von Goethe
“To love at all is to be vulnerable. Love anything and your heart will be wrung and possibly broken. If you want to make sure of keeping it intact you must give it to no one, not even an animal. Wrap it carefully round with hobbies and little luxuries; avoid all entanglements. Lock it up safe in the casket or coffin of your selfishness. But in that casket, safe, dark, motionless, airless, it will change. It will not be broken; it will become unbreakable, impenetrable, irredeemable. To love is to be vulnerable.”
“Love is not affectionate feeling, but a steady wish for the loved person’s ultimate good as far as it can be obtained.”
β C.S. Lewis, The Four Loves
“I believe it is the duty of each of us to act as if the fate of the world depended on him. Admittedly, one man by himself cannot do the job. However, one man can make a difference. We must live for the future of the human race, and not for our own comfort or success.”
“Responsibility is a unique concept… You may share it with others, but your portion is not diminished. You may delegate it, but it is still with you… If responsibility is rightfully yours, no evasion, or ignorance or passing the blame can shift the burden to someone else. Unless you can point your finger at the man who is responsible when something goes wrong, then you have never had anyone really responsible.”
“When doing a job β any job β one must feel that he owns it, and act as though he will remain in that job forever.”
βAbove all, we should bear in mind that our liberty is not an end in itself; it is a means to win respect for human dignity for all classes of our society.β

βThere is no joy equal to that of being able to work for all humanity and doing what you’re doing well.β
