“Exiting Extremism”: Parents For Peace Help Hate Group Members Turn The Page | Hallie Jackson
Glad they are trying to help these people it is definitely a sickness
@Tranja Vanadbia the people in the video. Duh!
we need to publically fund this
@Belly Dancer Em
They have been trying to avoid that so people don’t think they are “from the government.” But there must be some ways to help them out.
I’m sorry…These people have exposed a weakness within themselves…The susceptibility to the Conspiracy of the week, presented by right wing media presents a threat to our families and our businesses…I believe hate is an addiction like any other. Eventually they will go out in search of it again. When my children’s welfare is at stake, I for one, will err on the side of caution. Right wing media exploits this weakness masterfully.
Trusting these people ever again would be a mistake. All right wing media did was show you who they, really are. Stay safe everyone.
@RXR_Remix I agree with most of what you said, but it is possible for some people to change, and it’s wrong to assume all people are lost to this.
Nice interview, good job
This is a help for sure, educating people out of these hate groups is a blessing.
Don’t you just love how many reactions Joe Blow is getting. Just one, that I’ve seen. His views are so popular! Lmao!
ABSOLUTELY!!

@Sagi Lyonheart did you take offense at that quote from her novel or something? What an odd sort of comment… Clinically fascinating 🧐
@CasinoVa Beach no, kust pointing out the woman against socialism became a welfare recipient, instead of taking care of herself
“Hate is addictive”–so true. It produces its own sort of dopamine rush. And it becomes harder and harder to stand outside of it and see your thought distortions objectively.
@grandma k. why aren’t liberal media covering the border crisis? Are you even aware that there’s a border crisis? Migrants with covid are being released into the US, the CDC knows this, Fauci knows this, in fact he was questioned yes why he hasn’t discussed it with Biden. What’s Kamala done so far? I thought she was supposed to be having diplomatic talks with Mexico and the northern triangle.
@Nychelle Brewer I’m talking about thugs who call themselves Antifa who attack and intimidate conservatives. They do exist, and they exist in massive numbers. Certainly far more than the KKK who only have a few thousand members. The KKK aren’t exactly doing much nowadays. Antifa are literally a thousand times worse than the KKK. Actually Trump proposed designating the KKK a terrorist organisation, something Obama and Biden never did.
@Chaos
No, I wasn’t referring to anything I disagree with. i was referring to your litany of “BLM, Antifa, border crisis, Biden/China, mostly peaceful protest”. Those are al the same partisan hatred buzz words we have been hearing nonstop for months. They are all legitimate issues to discuss, but the way you all parrot them is amusing.

@grandma k. I’ve noticed that too–the people considered far left in the U.S. (or as we used to call them, “liberals”) are pretty conservative compared to the rest of the world. To question capitalism or patriotism (what others might call nationalism) would be unthinkable for an American politician.
EXCELLENT…GOD BLESS YOU
Great report and so good to hear about people who are dedicated to a positive solution to hate. The “underlying issues” are always a sense of disempowerment. Unfortunately, this sense of futility during a world wide pandemic, economic devastation and political lies makes them so vulnerable to groups that would use them to spread more hate.including Right Wing Religious groups, white supremacy groups and self serving politicians that also want to use them for their own agenda. We need more groups like this to address this serious issue. Many thanks to these brave people. It can’t be easy to approach these angry and violent people with love.
You said *white supremacist* You are a racist.
@Adam Silesia
Oh grow up. It was a thoughtful comment and you were just looking for excuses to attack.
That is encouraging. I knew that it is possible to reform people from hate, but it seemes like such a huge insurmountable problem. Hopefully these ‘formers’ can really help bring back those that have become addicted to hate.
I wish this group nothing but success…and blessings! Good luck!
That’s exactly what it is, an addiction. A means to medicate whatever demons they’re dealing with. A lot of NPD issues I suspect.
This is a great organization and thankful that they are out there helping.. Having hate for a people just because of their skin shade is pure ignorance.. It’s weird that many of these people in hate groups that call themselves Christians. Isn’t the belief that God created man? If they follow their Bible, it says God created man in his image so that means even the people that THEY are hating on.. When you get down into their reasons they don’t seem to get that they contradict themselves within that hate..
There needs to be a group like this in every city in this place we call America. What other cities are they located in?
Start with Trump, he’s had more influence on these idiots than anyone else.
Thanks for trying to help these people. So tired of all the hate…
What about all the hatred directed at Donald Trump?
@Tom Anderson There’s no helping him, he’s been long past the point of no return in regards to his mental health.
@Tom Anderson He can’t be rehabilitated any more than Adolf Hitler. He is pure evil and the only help for this nation is for him to go to prison (as he richly deserves) or to do himself in. Either would work.
Hate is evil, the person inflicting hate is also a tormented person him/herself. It is as if that person fell into a pool of ants, always itching to act in hate, cannot imagine them having internal peace.
you are right.
Hate is a taught and learned behavior.
@Harley Rider 07 not necessarily, people can also develop hate because they are unhappy with their lives and blame others for it.
@Harley Rider 07 Both you and grandma k. are right in your assessment. However, although our moral development is not fully developed until we are adults.We instinctively know there are some behaviors that we should not do. Yes, some people are taught hate and some reflect it because they are unhappy and blame others. But we are all responsible for our own behavior. Be it good or bad.
This is wonderful. I hope this gets bigger. America needs to get rid of all of the hate
@Tom Anderson tRump is a con man and has proven him self to be a con man many times. The way he works is like a spoiled kid you as him to be nice and play with others and instead he try’s to find a way to get other people to give him their candy (money). The way that he goes about tricking fokes is almost always illegal or vary shady a good resent example of that are the check boxes for his donations to be reacuring already being checked. Wen he gets found out he likes to scream and cry saying that every one is not being fair to him because people found out about his scams. Then he points his child like hands at others and ether clames what thay are doing is the problem ( it is always self projection ) Simply put he is not that hard to understand he is a spoiled “rich” kid that never learned how to be any thing other then a con man and a blatant liar. A good amount of the “hate” is just people seeing him for what he is and knowing how he and people like him operate. Wen all you have to offer people is fear of other races and clamming that you were some how wronged by every one or that accountability for their crimes are unfair it only makes sent that people don’t want that representing us all on a world stage.
@Tom Anderson What about it?
@Jason Jacquet idiotic leftists talk about how they are against “hate”, yet hate Donald Trump with a passion. If that isn’t hypocrisy, then I don’t know what is
@Tom Anderson Excuse me? He called us “human scum”
@Jason Jacquet called who human scum? What are you even talking about?
Many blessings to everyone in America and around the world thank you
Thank heavens for organizations like this that prove it’s not a fantasy or a pipe dream to actually get someone to leave these insane hate groups. 🧡🇺🇸
@thom wessels
I am a scientist and spend my entire life observing evidence and weighing facts. I never believe anything until I have seen it from many sides. “Systemic racism” is a good example. It IS overused, and what is called “systemic racism” is often unintentional and indirect, but there ARE aspects of our systems that disadvantage blacks in many ways, whether intentional or not. Yes, there are people who wrongly see “racism” everywhere, and they can sometimes annoy me too. But clearly there ARE problems, and we can start to find solutions without throwing around accusations.
@thom wessels Never cease finding a way to make a negative comment about BLM… have news for you… I’m white, I’ve also employed black people, and I’m not in denial that systemic racism exists. BLM is NOT a hate group. Try educating yourself.
I’m sorry…These people have exposed a weakness within themselves…The susceptibility to the Conspiracy of the week, presented by right wing media presents a threat to our families and our businesses…I believe hate is an addiction like any other. @Madison Heights Not negative nor racist, just observations over time. You don’t really believe BLM has ever done anything constructive toward bring America’s blacks forward from their own self inflicted, whiny permanent slavery fantasies about how badly America has treated them, now do you? Every other race is thriving today. Why not colored people? Whose fault would that be, hmmmm?
@RXR_Remix “Right wing media’?? What does that even mean? You sound like you are somehow threatened by perspectives that you don’t want to hear. I’ve noticed that liberals today seem to fall in that category. Why would that be? I too am very protective of my family and due to this wacko administration inviting illegal aliens in to swarm our neighborhoods and get free food, housing, clothes and education, I now carry all the time. I won’t let Uncle Mumble’s Handlers hurt my family.
This is an awesome idea! I’m thinking about donating and even helping! I am an at home mom and summer is about to start. With the kids being out of school, it will give me something to do that is productive for the community and the country. I want to see more for my children and grandchildren far after I am gone. They cannot keep fighting the same fights that our ancestors, grandparents, parents, and we fought.
In my humble opinion, hate is typically based in fear. Fear is a powerful emotion. Too many people are living in a fearful, hateful state. Many of these individuals suffer from cluster “B” personality disorders, such as anti-social personality, narcissistic personality, borderline personality, historic personality disorders. They don’t see their own “crazy”. They’re “feelings” are their facts. Opinions are suddenly “facts”, open ended questions become “facts”. It’s an epidemic of narcissistic symbiosis and it’s extremely dangerous.
Agree completely. Fear and narcissism go hand in hand.
Tears in my eyes. Praying for all human beings.
There should be more help lines like that, they have a great approach and might prevent extremists from becoming criminals.
