A major problem with many Americans is basic financial literacy and it's because often times children aren't taught about savings accounts and paying bills and taxes. Michael Thomas is known for his work on the field as a safety for the Houston Texans, but he also runs a free youth football camp that teaches kids about applying to college, budgeting and investing. He joins Stephanie Ruhle to discuss the importance of teaching financial literacy young. Aired on 02/02/2021.

@David J Clinton started a foundation and put Chelsy in charge….just look at her starting salary. Lets face it and acknowledge that all charities are scams that are non profit and tax free. How can they be deemed non profit when the founders make millions?
I think this is fantastic. I get really upset when people denigrate professional athletes for doing anything other than playing their sport. I’ve been very proud of the way some in the NBA, the WNBA, and NFL have put themselves out there for causes they believe in.
