This would not work. Both sides think the other is lying. What commission could even maintain this? The majority party would be in charge of it and the minority party would be attacked. And telling the truth could be deemed a lie by the majority party. No bueno.

This whole thing is a joke. Even if they could convict Trump, he will get it overturned in the courts, the proof of this is when Chief Justice Roberts told the Senate Democrats to kiss his butt.
