Pretty sure the founding fathers would be more shocked for not realizing it was a bad idea to give Congress the ability to govern themselves and vote on their own term limits, salaries, lobbyism regulations, audits, etc.

And that might be one of the least offensive statements in the past few years. We are on a slippery slope.
