A man has been charged with murder after allegedly stabbing 7-year-old Bella Desrosiers in her southeast Edmonton home Monday evening.

My deepest condolences to her family. And to all those who will call for the execution, or the severe punishment of her killer. Your anger is understandable, but if he was not in his right mind, he needs to be removed from society, and treated until he is no longer a threat. This girls mother doesn’t seem to have any hate in her heart for this guy, and her loss goes beyond words, so why should you?
Because. we have no compassion in our hearts for a child murderer. 6ft in the ground is preferable over becoming a burden to the tax payer and wasting time trying to reform someone with that kind of darkness in them.
What you’re basically saying is that this person who violently robbed an innocent child of life deserves the right to life. Makes sense….
This woman doesn’t have hate in her heart because she is involved somehow. This is like all those other mothers that killed their kids, went on camera and practiced their acting skills.
I guarentee, mental illness or not, if someone took my child they wouldn’t have the chance to make it to an institution or rehabilitation. Situations like this are disgusting no matter what the excuse.
A life sentence with no chance for parole seems appropriate and just in this case. What a sad tragedy.
