    3. Helen, that was the asking price for a charter, very few takers. Most of the cruises these behemoths take are crew only moving to a new port so the owner has a place to stay for a weekend, cause five star hotels have the “poor” rich staying in them.

    He ought to be mentioned in all of these yacht-seizure reports.

  11. I’m guess these yachts weren’t paid with cash so does the US pay off the yacht’s loan and pocket the difference or do they have the authority to just sell it and the oligarch is still on the hook for the loan?

    3. It happens when you pass away and have your assets sold to the highest bidder. Here in this town, Orosi CA, some old guy before he passed had only one request. It all began when the city or county offered to buy his house (which is close to the middle school) but he neglected the offer. He only wanted his house to remain and everything else could be done to whatever they pleased. Long story short, they built a park over his grave(house).
      This government is just heartless and inhumane. I wonder why the UN never has anything to say about the USA.
