Racism will not go away but its effect will become less and less important. Regarding the system as a whole there is more work to be done in the criminal justice system, housing, and police reform regarding minorities but it is slowly moving in the right direction. Also black people will have to step up by fighting the bad actors in their community who do not represent them but give a bad image to all black people.
