As Canada anxiously waits for the shipment of one million bottles of children’s pain reliever medication, CEO of the Ontario’s Pharmacists Association Justin Bates says it won’t be enough to tackle the issue in the long-run.

And how much of the cost of this shipment has made its way into the pockets of Jagmeet Trudeau in the form of kickbacks?
TheFederal Health department caused this problem by insisting all labels had to be bilingual
ya English won the war
More pandering
@Barbara C French make your country so cry more and learn respect
@Deleted Comment #2 How is this pander? you guys love playing the victims. Sorry to tell you that this is respect.
No it’s not because of that. Keep playing the victim you pos
news: 1 million bottles will be on shelves next week
next week: shelves are empty
facebook market place has entered the chat
yeah for sure
or they start selling them out the back door
1 million won’t even cover one per family
It costs money for french translation.. The suppliers can’t do duel language packaging right now
Thank government, we don’t need enemies with you in charge.
THIS IS A SHAME! EMBARRASSING.
It’ll be gone before it arrives
Everyone rushing to buy Tylenol. I’m over here NOT depleting our children’s glutathione in illness.
Parents should stop giving their kids drugs. Especially Tylenol.
A spoonful of raw honey will reduce pain, induce restful sleep and build immunity
How come they are not short on alcohol or smokes ever 🤔
Yep… or cannabis or vape products…. Quite a mystery…..
There’s a lot more businesses in the alcohol industry; big pharma is an oligopoly with fewer competition. I don’t know about the tobacco industry.
Because the govt makes massive profits off of the taxes on smokes, alcohol, and canna. I don’t believe there is any tax charged on children’s medication. Why would the govt care about something they don’t stuff their pockets with?
I’m concerned kids could overdose on adult medicine.
Take it easy with Tylenol. Look at the connection between acetaminophen and autism.
What’s the link? I’m not judging, I’ve just never heard of it. I think the v schedule as kids causes it for the record
There is a Cannabis store every corner, but NO KIDS TYLENOL!!!! Big Shame
That should tell you where the government priorities are. This is yet another massive liberal failure. They’ve known about the depleting supply since at least April.
@Sam G I agree.
@Murreth GTA
Cannabis is much easier to produce locally than Tylenol, sad we don’t have the ability to self sustain though.
In Ontario there is now more cannibis stores then Tim Hortons.
This works out to roughly one bottle for every 8 children, or about two teaspoons per child lol
Thank you Justin, fire them all. Just went to pharmacy and no adult Tylenol or ibuprofen
Tylenol has always been a short term solution. Best to keep that crap out of your body anyways.
most medication is short term anyways because who wants to be in pain but hey that’s life. This stuff just makes it tolerable.
They need rainbows on them too so that we can pander to them also. We don’t wanna leave anyone out and hurt someone’s feelings.
they knew 8 months before the shortages ..
They knew there was a problem SIX MONTHS AGO. How is everything so broken in Canada under this government?
Government should give suppliers 72 hours to resolve crisis and if they fail send them to prison for life.
Where exactly are these emergency medicines coming from? Besides “foreign companies?”
