Democrats won big in Kentucky and Virginia in the first election since the impeachment probe began, leaving Republicans reportedly ‘worried’ ahead of the 2020 election. Kentucky’s Republican governor Matt Bevin performed 14 points worse than Trump did in 2016, losing the top office to Democrat Andy Beshear, while Democrats took complete control of the state government in Virginia.
