    1. @Johnathan Damron It’s never been about party sides. It’s about the truth. I have never heard of a case where witnesses weren’t allowed to testify. If I ever am a defendant I’m going to request a “trump”. No witnesses=no guilty verdict. I only want the nation to open their eyes. He’s a modern day Hitler. Years to come we will be ashamed of this time in our history.

    2. @devon k Then you have never paid attention to any court case. An attorney can object to any witnesses for multiple reasons. More importantly here you are focusing on how Trumps team blocked Whitehouse members which i have already explained why I think its fair, yet you can not blame OUR party for not calling the whistleblower to testify. You clearly have tunnel vision from the perspective of someone with trump derangement syndrome. When you say “truth” you mean your truth, not the truth. You need a broader perspective. I bet you have read everything I written and have not realized I seriously dislike Trump. You have only came from a perspective of “orange man bad” anyone who doesn’t say he is bad in every way, also bad. I imagine Trump atleast implied to Ukraine that investigating Hunter Biden was the cost of continuing US support. Yet I never hear any of you with TDS(Trump derangement syndrome)saying Hunter Biden being on a foreign energy company seem very corrupt and should be investigated. Which makes me think you dont know that the current Ukrainian president ran on a platform of ending corruption in Ukraine. Again I am not sayinf what Trump did was good. I have had many conversations with people like you that have TDS and I am assuming you forgot that already. I am saying that is all you see and that is why you don’t understand the real reasons people support Trump. You go on late night TV shows and the news, which would do anything to create drama especially dedicated national news channels and they lie and they say Trumps a liar and you stare down that tunnel not challenging anything they say.

  8. Do you really expect there not to be fallout when a coup attempt fails. In most countries these people would be tried for treason. In some countries they would be executed without a trial. They are lucky to be Americans.

    1. @Jacob Trost Yes, they did. They said it over and over again. They kept saying, If Trump is innocent then why doesn’t he let these people come in and testify. That is putting the onus on the President to PROVE that he’s innocent and it would destroy the separation of powers by making the President, any President the subservient slave of the Congress. In direct contravention of the Separation of Powers and violating Executive Privilege which every President has as a right, privilege, and immunity. Not absolute immunity, but it is Constitutional Law that has been upheld by the Supreme Court of the United States. Also, those that testified offered nothing to prove Trump was guilty. They were asked if they had any knowledge of Trump committing any crime. Bribery, extortion, anything. And they all said NO. Meaning the House had no evidence to support impeachment. It was a political hit job that they said they were going to do. The reason why the House didn’t have all they wanted and needed as they claim is because they weren’t going to go to the courts to have their subpoenas enforced. They couldn’t wait. While during the Nixon and Clinton impeachments the House Judiciary committee followed the proper Constitutional process of going to the courts to settle the matter when there is a difference between the legislative branch and the executive branch. But they weren’t willing to do that because this was all about getting Trump off of the ballot in November because they KNOW they are going to be crushed in this election. This wasn’t about any crime as they stated this is a “political process”. Except that the articles of impeachment for Johnson, Nixon, and Clinton all cited statutory felonies. This is the FIRST time in US History where a sitting President has been impeached without an actual crime being included in the articles of impeachment. The precedent the Democrats have no set is that ANY president can be impeached simply because the other party has control of the House. No crime has to be present, and the House can fabricate nonexistent crimes, such as they did here. It’s that plain and simple.

    2. @War Lord Saying “an innocent person doesn’t hide witnesses and evidence” is NOT the same as saying “he needs to let them testify, otherwise he’s guilty.” They were pointing to his actions and demeanor as further evidence that he was involved in wrongdoing. He was not guilty until proven innocent as you have suggested, otherwise he would have been convicted as guilty without the witnesses testifying, not the other way around. Accusing them of “destroying the separation of powers” is a great laugh, considering impeachment IS the check that the legislative branch has against the executive, and the executive branch in this case was the one impeding the legislative’s ability to perform that check! Your stance on all of this is absolutely formed by a blind partisan alliance to the president.

      And at the end of the day, you can go after the Democrats in the House all you want, but that’s not even what the video is about! It’s about a bunch of public servants with outstanding careers and accomplishments being punished by a vindictive and corrupt White House for doing their civic duty, responding to congressional subpoenas, and taking their testimonies under oath seriously. Are you going to tell me that Vindman, Yovanovitch and Sondland were all in on this supposed coup as well?

      And while we’re talking about precedents, we’ve also just set the precedent that any sitting president can call on a foreign power to aid in their next campaign. So when Trump fails to “crush” this next election, I’ll be really interested to see how Fox News and all their little internet warriors try to spin it when the next guy in the White House decides to phone a friend.

    3. Ok – Drain the Swamp — Here goes the story — In one town people are fed up with all the certified plumbers (aka politicians) who cannot clean the choked up pipes (our institutions). Then one fine day a magician shows up. He speaks the people’s mind, understands their frustration, and promises to “drain the swamp” with a magic spell. People hire him. The magician tells that the real problem is the pipes and not the drain. So he suggests to remove all the pipes (destroy the institutions) and people agree. Next day will all pipes removed, people are happy that there is no swamp. They try to use their toilets, flush it like 1000 times but still no water (no law and order) because there are no pipes (aka institutions). So now onwards, the people perform their morning “rituals” in open looking at each others BEAUTIFUL and PERFECT A**holes and enjoying the fragrance of freshly minted p**p. While the magician after looting the people is living the life of a king. This is how -“Drain the Swamp” story will end. Wake up America before its too late. REMOVE THE DICTATOR AND SAVE DEMOCRACY.
