  1. TL:DR How kids react when you see them with the hand in the cookie jar. That’s why the sequence is important.

  2. It’s embarrassing to see how stupid his supporters are. It’s going to take a recession before they will tell themselves the truth about him. It always does.

    1. Even a depression would not turn trumps supporters against him. Realize his cult followers are convinced and waiting for him to deport ALL people who do no have white skin. That’s why they hold on

    2. Who cares knew about the fake whistleblower’s complaint in August? It was a false accusation of quid pro quo that never happened to begin with. (See https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YEWlcTtvof0.)

So you’re saying he was caught in a false accusation of quid pro quo in his phone conversation with Zelensky in July that clearly shows no quid pro quo in that call. It seems you’re not caught of anything if the accusation was wrong to begin with. The whistleblower was so off the mark that they didn’t even call him as a witness in the impeachment hearings. Therefore, his allegations were dead wrong.

So that means the date of being caught moves to Sept 9 when the House began an investigation and moved the goal posts all over the place, but even before then, Trump completely exonerated himself by saying he wanted no quid pro quo to Sondland when he was asked what he wanted from Ukraine. That’s when the official policy was set in stone.

Who cares if it was undecided before? Trump allowed to think about his options to decide. It’s called due diligence, and there’s nothing wrong with taking your time to decide what to do. Not making a decision is not a crime.

  3. “The
extremity of its evil had passed beyond all struggle into some state which bore a horrible similarity to innocence.” – C.S. Lewis, Perelandra

  4. The clearer it becomes, the dirtier it looks! Waiting to see how much Republicans are willing to excuse and legitimize wrongdoing.

    1. Avowed Independent It’s becoming more clear every day that the Obama administration was the most corrupt in our history. The IG’S report drops Dec 9.

    2. The Republicans in Congress are slitting their own throats. If Trump gets away with this then Congress has relinquished it’s oversight powers to the president.

    3. They’ve been trying to do that since Nixon, Where did you think that “the only thing Nixon did wrong was get caught” idea comes from?

    4. All of them. Cowards and crooks with their hands in the cookie jar. They can’t stand for the American people because they are as dirty as Trump.

  5. “The term “executive privilege” is not in the U.S. Constitution, but it’s considered an implied power based on the separation of powers laid out in Article II, which is meant to make sure one branch of government doesn’t become all-powerful; executive privilege is one way the legislative branch’s power over the executive is limited. “… https://time.com/5605930/executive-privilege-history/

It is a myth and does not exist, therefore should have never been given traction. George Washington and Thomas Jefferson tried to invoke “executive privilege” and even justify it. Being Founding Fathers, they could have amended the Constitution and laid out the guidelines and limitations of the privilege. They did not because of lack of support.
We need to end it now. That is not to say that the public has access to all the information. The other two equal branches should.

    1. @Terry Vanbocquestal I sense you are using the language of a cult, and paraphrassing the cult leader. Don’t you have any insight. My insight tells me that President Trump set out to be devisive
from the moment he decided to run for President. My insight tells me that the Trump family were always deeply connected to the new Russians leadership, oligarchs and cohorts. Isn’t that obvious from all the people indicted surrounding Trump, Kushner’s back door communications with Russia, and Trump’s highly irregular friendship with Putin. So of course Trump colluded with the Russians. Remember all the critical witnesses were not allowed to testify. I am not suggesting Trump is somehow evil. He is however IS so over the top narcissistic that he feels he can lie at will. If you don’t believe me, then why did he send Guilani to Ukraine to persuade their President to publically announce an investigation into the Bidens. And then obsessly bring up the Bidens in a telephone call with the Ukrainian president. I am going to make another point here. I will bet you Putin gave to go ahead to Trump to send the javelin missiles to Ukraine. Why, because the missiles are going to be used as a deterrent and will have no direct impact on the conflict between the Russian Ukrainians and the regular Ukraine army in Eastern Ukraine.
President Trump told you over, and over, and over again to hate the media using phrases like fake news and corrupt media. And you my good friend bought into it. My suggestion to you is to divest yourself from the rhetoric if you can and look at the facts without making personal determinations.

    2. @Terry Vanbocquestal The Republican’s star witness stabbed the entire Republican defense through the front.

Also, Reagen is one of our more corrupt presidents.

    3. Sorry, can’t help a person who is so lost in the swamp mire that is obscuring your ability to see the forest (truth) for the trees (deception).  For the sake of it, no republican star witness, no demonrat star witness, fact is, no witnesses and this is remarking on all slanderous and evil accusations made in the Russia Collusion fiasco, and the Ukrainian quid pro quo lies with the only common denominator being Adam Schift who is an evil man bent on serving the demonrats agenda! Leave this swamp of evil and come to your senses man!

    4. James, in a way you’ve made sense, and provided more insight to me how deception is weaving its evil thread in the fabric of what is true.  You or I cannot claim inside knowledge of these things you’ve mentioned, only using logic and insight to assume what happened but both of which do not equal anything remotely to what is fact.   Observing the behavior of the demonrats, seeing their obvious desperation to win back power, and being appalled by their drumming up one falsehood after another even claiming irrefutable truth just leaves me speechless.  Come James, look closer and slip past the trees of deception, and look at the forest of truth that lies beyond that tells the whole story.  I will speculate this, if Trump had one legitimate criminal or impeachable offense I believe he would have been removed years ago but they just can’t find conclusive evidence even despite claims that Trump is pure evil through and through!  Seems odd doesn’t it James?

    1. And Amash is not even with the GOP anymore … Have to wonder what Hurd actually has going. He may be leaving but he must be hedging his bets about higher office down the road …

    2. Timbone ………………………..    Republicans are a cult of crazies and racists. The few that are marginally intelligent ( like Hurd ) are cowards that prostrate themselves to the rabble of haters .

  6. Trump pushes everything to the limit, lf someone says your the President you can do this or that, He goes in do it with out any, thoughts of deprecussion ! 🤔
    (Child like Behaviour ! )

    1. Hurd is “former cia”
A branch of the government that didn’t stop the Russians and trump in the 2016 clown show.

  7. MSNBC talking heads are waaay smarter and credible than the ones at Fox with mini skirts and deranged right wing guests.

    1. geishasecrets Fox? The outlet that said “Russian collusion” was a hoax while you were suckered for TWO WHOLE years by CNN/MSNBC? That Fox? And you’re still here for more propaganda? Not too bright, are you?

    2. @Rod Allen Red Hats UNITE in Sorrow as “The Chosen One” IS chosen to wear an orange jumpsuit.Rethugnican tears fall like monsoon rain in Tokyo
Riding the short bus well into adulthood aintcha, Rod?
      Take off

  8. i’m pretty sure bill barr ran to trump immediately to tell him. i didn’t even think of this before. great point.

    1. Annie He has threatened that a couple of times. If he does that he needs to be worried about much more than an impeachment.

    2. How many lives will Trump sacrifice to dig himself out of this hole, 10,000 Kurds haven’t been enough, 15,000 Ukranians haven’t been enough, how many more Afghans, Syrians, Lebanese, Lybians, Malians, Iranians… how many more “OTHERS” will he spend before he sends Americans to die for the “T” that will replace the Washington Monument. (I want a giant letter T on the Capital Mall, knock down that old Egyptian style thing and give me a “BIG NEON T”)(DT)

    2. @Rodney Boehner How many ignorant Boehners are there out there ? Just because one got elected doesn’t necessarily mean you should reproduce. Do you really wast a President Donald Trump III ?
