In one of his responses to questioning ,it was interesting to hear what witness Holmes had to say about the newly elected Ukrainian President at the centre of the “quid pro quo” debacle.
I have yet to read anything about him other than how he came out of a showbiz career and had a landslide victory in the Ukraine election. Anyone who watched the live hearing where Hill and Holmes had to testify could only come away with admiration for two honorable public servants doing what they regarded as their duty, and a better understanding of Ukraine’s strategic importance to Russia, and why it matters that an attempt was made to use the withholding of financial aid as leverage for the forthcoming election.
According to Holmes, who is in the know, Ukraine’s president is highly respected by many , and for good reasons, Apparently he wants to serve his country and rid it of corruption and uphold democratic principles, unlike his American counterpart who is a creature from the swamp he promised to drain and who would like to be king and start a dynasty.
Heaven forbid that his dreams would ever come true. He’s his country’s worst nightmare.
While campaigning in 2016, stone thrower Trump continually called Hillary crooked and paused and smiled as the crowd hysterically chanted “Lock her up. Lock her up.”
Maybe he’s the one who should be locked up.
