  1. No wonder why people scream death to America. Strong words but Mitch get the hell out this guy talking u betray this government and this world.

    1. @Misbah Al-Zayt Iraq’s government, allies that the US supported, requested US withdrawal under Obama. This is an abandonment of US allies akin to the abandonment of Al-Qaeda. Remember what happened as a result of that. Trump is reeee.

    1. @Castor Chua I wonder how the parents of all the Syrian children that were murdered under the Assad regime thanks to Obama would feel about your sarcasm… You coward

  2. We signed up to have the Kurds help defeat ISIS and they did help greatly. Then some tangerine colored dipstick turned his back on them so Russian troops could move in.

    1. @C. Reck
Our being there kept Turkey from killing them. Now ask yourself why Russia is defending ISIS. Ask why Trump loves an ISIS defender like Putin, a nuclear nut like Kim and a murdering Saudi prince.

    2. @C. Reck
Reoublicans are the weaklings leaving an ally to be slaughtered and traitors who wear shirts saying, “I’d rathrer be Russian than Democrat.” I say I’d rather be American than Republican.

    1. @DOUGLAS HOTCHKISS WOW! Pick up a history book for the love of God… Obama IS responsible for the VERY thing you are crying about… He allowed Assad to cross the imiginary RED Line.. Pick up a history book and learn about the region..

    2. +@C. Reck Nothing beats good sex like doing it with your mother in good ole, Mississippi, Kentucky and Alabama and producing inbred Trump voters!

  3. Who would want his job? – Having to publicly debase himself in front of the world because Trump doesn’t have a clue about Military Operations, Projection of Power and Influence or even the concept that once you lie to a friend and use them up your word aint worth a crap – no one will trust the US again – victory to Putin.

  4. Then the Lord said to Cain, “Where is Abel your brother?” He said, “I do not know. Am I my brother’s keeper?” And He said, “What have you done? The voice of your brother’s blood cries out to Me from the ground. So now you are cursed from the earth, which has opened its mouth to receive your brother’s blood from your hand.
    Genesis 4:9‭-‬11 NKJV

  5. she understands the situation better than he does! this is the kind of fool that gets put in charge when the only criteria is personal allegiance to the american hitler

    1. Shows how ignorant you ppl are about Hitler and Nazism. The ‘American Hitler’ is the greatest supporter and defender of the state of Israel. The Anti Semites are on the Left starting with Omar and Tlaib.

  6. She’s such an amazing interviewer. She knows the subject matter front and back, asks in depth questions with great follow-up, and maintains a cordial and professional manner and tone with those she obviously disagrees with. Sadly, I can think of no one else working in television journalism today that can hold a candle to her. So sick of pundits and their endless prattle.

    1. That’s because she’s old school journalist and been at war coverage forever. And she’s wealthy and can’t be bought and not intimidated. Her and her husband are both very successful and don’t bow to any network, government, or boss.

    1. @Real Deal didn’t that happen on Trump’s watch? Hence MOAB. I know Sadam used chemicals on The Kurds – a whole village was massacred. Now Erdogan and Putin have signed an agreement to drive out the Kurds.

    2. @Hazel McCloyAssad!! Not Sadam.. ASSAD!!! Forget Trump!! He actually BOMBED ASSAD and Russians for using chem wps on Syrians.. I am talking about Obama allowing the slaughter of 12 000 Syrian women and children… Erdogan is fighting Kurd militia NOT purposely killing women and children!!

    1. Just so you know, on August 21, the Syrian military had attacked rebel-controlled areas of the Damascus suburbs with chemical weapons, killing nearly 1,500 civilians, including more than 400 children. Obama’s Red Line was crossed and he DID NOTHING!! How do you feel about that? What’s your view??

    1. Oh, like the RED LINE that Obama warned about crossing.. How did that work out?? How many innocent women and small children died?? Do you have any idea how much blood is on the Obama administrations hands for doing nothing to help Syria…..?????? Aug 20, 2012.. Look it up!!! DO you even know who ASSAD is???? Any clue???

    3. @Real Deal I voted for Obama twice, and I was appalled any his decision to essentially do nothing after his so called Red Line was crossed, but as I assume you know, two wrongs do not make a right. Obama’s faults on Syria, which may be deemed moral faults, were not a betrayal in the same sense as this debacle. Obama failure to act undoubtedly cost lives in Syria, just like Trumps utter betrayal of the Kurds is doing right now. But a betrayal of a friend, of a comrade in arms, one that has shed far more blood than oneself, just adds an additional level disgust, which is sadly the kind of behavior one has learned to expect from mTrump.

    4. @fordhouse8b WTF are you talking about?? TRUMP BOMBED SYRIA!! He killed Assads army and Russians!! STOP lying!! The Kurds are using Americans to take land in Northern Syria. Americans are not there to protect the Kurds from Turks. WRONG mission… Americans went there to DESTROY ISIS!! Its NOT our war

  7. “the sdf are still in control of the prisons that are under their control.”
pop quiz: what’s wrong with that sentence?

    1. duh, and they are all going to be MASSACRED tomorrow! Then what? Do you think that Russia and Turkey and Iran are going to save us?

    2. @Sam Iam Turns out thugs are more Honorable than backstabbing governments. the only difference is that governments have power and make the rules even though they dont follow em.

    1. @Knut Katastrophe less than a platoon was all that was needed to stop Turkey for the how long before those troops were moved? Kurds died in the thousands and your guys were specialists insurgent trainers. Now another former ally that you have bailed on has been trained on insurgency by your best insurgents. That has never bitten you in arse before!

    2. Hard to believe “Esperanto” as an ex-fighting member of the ground troops would believe the bullshit he’s spouting right now. He knows full well that Turkey only moved in after Erdogan first convinced Trump to extract and pull out US troops. The US forces in that region had always been “outnumbered” if we go simply by sheer number. But despite the limited presence they have been able to maintain some semblance order and kept each interested party in check. There was no way Turkey would execute a forceful incursion against the American soldiers posted there if the US were adamant about remaining to act as a buffer.
