Workers at the Pennsylvania petrochemical plant where President Donald Trump spoke were told that if they didn't attend the event, they either had to use paid time off or receive no pay for the day.

  1. These workers should unionize.

  2. Usually, politics and events are held after working hours, at least that’s how I remember events over 25 years ago; perhaps times have changed. Oil well.

  3. “We did very well here” but then asks, if anyone knows how many points he had gotten from there.

As in Roman times, the crowd asks for bread and games. But if the drum gathers, the stick will scatter them.

I will be passing up Shell stations. Forced attendance, good look for the union.

    • @James that wasnt the unions message thatcwas shell the owners of the company . That, was the message shell gave to the unions to tell the workers inthe union. Its not like an order the union gave to the workers they were just relaying the message of the employer. But what youre forgetting is there were conditions that were included that you couldnt voice any opposition or protest if you disagreed which violates your free speech or right to protest under the constitution.

    • Bye Felicia! It’s funny because you think you make difference.

@James Cleary you’re a child and do not work. PTO means paid time off. PTO is a mix of vacation time and sick time that an employee accrue per the amount of hours you work in a pay period cycle. So, when the memo says they have to come or USE time they have accrued from working is not a PAID DAY OFF!!! that is them being FORCED to use time they have earned for vaction or if they are sick on a BS rally. Its unfair and borderline illegal. On any job in America you can be fired for talking about political affiliation in person, by email, or having representation in your work space.

    • @James Trump is campaigning. That has different rules. It’s not right but you don’t see it because you support Trump. If you worked there and it was a candidate you did not support, you would be pissed off. That’s why campaigning for elections follow strict rules. It’s happened in the past and caused big problems so laws were made.

    • Oh it was great when Obama was around, nobody said 6% dumbass

    • it was 3 not six. I mean you dont have to lie when he is still wrong

    • @Don Quixote I don’t think he gave out any numbers can you point to where this is, besides did all you Obama hacks we’re crying that he had a great economy and his was all in the 2% range except for one quarter

“there were fine people on both sides”, at the Charlottsville event … AND THERE WERE … AS SAID.

But that doesn’t go for the protesters on either side.

The event was put on by idiots associated with the likes of Hitler … these events are attended by people who are just curious because, maybe their bored and went to town for lunch and got stopped in traffic … in other words to most in the crowd these events are nothing more than a curiousity … and can kinda be ignored … A NOTHING BURGER.

If the event has a bend to it(like the removal of an iconic statue), people who have NO AGREEMENT with the neo-nazzi concept, will likely show up because they don’t want their statue torn down … all plain and simple

BUT THEN … agitators with specific purpose come in and suddenly everything becomes out of hand.

Without the agitators, most people stand around and listen to the pip-squeaks on the steps of the courthouse and talk to co-workers about the “uniformed”,idiots with the megaphone, and wish they’d finish and just go home.

First they came for the Communists
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a Communist

Then they came for the Socialists
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a Socialist

Then they came for the trade unionists
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a trade unionist

Then they came for the Jews
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a Jew

    Then they came for me
And there was no one left
    To speak out for me

  19. Forcing Union workers to “goose-step” to a political agenda. How sad & sickening. They have to force workers to attend or loose wages…sick …sick…sick…

Where is this Country going??? I’ve seen & heard toooooo much. When will it end. “Shell can go to hell”

  20. More double think
    > installs policies that attack and break unions
    > says he loves unions
