This “Iranian” ship boarded in UK territorial waters was neither registered or flagged to Iran. It’s crew is from India. It’s paperworks claims the cargo to be Iraqi oil even though Iraq had no such cooperating paperwork. It was by all rights a smuggling ship in EU waters attempting to violate EU sanctions.
