@Oscar Acosta Not sure why you assume everyone who disagrees with how things are being handled is liberal. The problem USA and the UK (where I am) has, they were very late to start heavily testing people, in fact, the UK will only test you if you need to go to the hospital. You are not going to see any impact of the shut down for at least a week to 10 days, you then only give yourself a week of breathing room before things start opening up (if trump sticks to his timeline). This has impacted the entire world and what is becoming clear is the Countries that started heavily testing and tracking early are doing the best at curving the virus. Curving is not a cure it’s only done to slow down the spread so that hospitals do not get overrun if that happens more people die and people who don’t even have COVID could die. You also don’t want to play this game of wack-a-mole where you have to keep shutting down states when there is an outbreak.
The measures Fauci, WHO and the scientific community are putting out are common sense and we should all listen until we know more about COVID. I am not impacted by this, I work from home 9 hours a day, but I do understand the importance of these extreme measures and hope my country and the US does a better job and its a shame as I kinda like Borris. I do not care who is in charge if they are competent and appear to be doing the right thing.
