He’s a big enough talking head, has an apologist message, and anyone who hasn’t seen his past behavior would like how he acts here. I honestly think if he drums up enough press he’ll split the vote quite a bit. At the very least, enough to lose the election. I would like him to eventually endorse a democratic candidate further down the road.

I remember Joe Walsh. I remember he was deplorable, but it seems like it was all politics to exploit the prejudices of his voters to get himself elected… It worked. So he’s a good politician, not sure about his principles tho.

It does take a lot of guts (if you’re part of the GOP) to admit your most horrible wrongdoings against “the other.” But that doesn’t erase the stain on his drawers.
