John Bolton is the latest top national security official who has been forced out after clashing with President Trump. Trump said Tuesday that he had fired national security adviser John Bolton after a string of disagreements over how the U.S. should handle North Korea, Afghanistan and Iran. Bolton himself said in a tweet that he had offered to resign Monday night.
