@Eagle Eyes Since the impeachment inquiry began there has been growing doubt Trump will even be impeached. This despite the fact Democrats have been promising to impeach Trump literally since the day he was elected. Even if impeached by the House, however, there is little doubt that the President will be acquited in the Senate.

There is a mechanism to remove a president from office and they don’t have the votes. You can’t have random prosecutors that are j3w1sh indicting presidents, it would be chaos. So only the senate can remove a president.

It don’t quite work that way but we get your point. #MoscowMitch needs to allow those bills to be voted on in the Senate and those that pass should go to Trump* to sign. If Trump* vetos any of them, then the bills go back to the House and Senate for a 2/3 vote to pass. It’s called “doing his job.”

Hopefully Zoe Lofgren will reread the articles of impeachment drafted against Nixon and realize two of the three articles cited Nixon’s violations of the Take Care clause of Article II of the Constitution, which is the clause that provides for the rule of law. Trump has repeatedly publicly violated the Take Care clause, both by actions and inactions.
Trump is a lifelong criminal – will have had his hand in the cookie jar since day one.
