Americans should boycott Israel as a travel destination. They do not in any way shape or form represent a democracy. Sorry to admit, I have visited Israel two times, and have seen the unequal treatment of Palestinians in their country. Palestinians have green or white license plates, and they are restricted from traveling the many roads in their own country. The roads are policed by armed Israelis. How can this possibly be a democracy?
Please get this right. Israel is NOT an ally, it is a dependent of the U.S.
