  1. To this day I listen to Linda. I was just playing her albums last night. Yeah, albums, sue me I still love vinyl. In my book, there isn’t a female singer that can touch her in any way. Her voice is so… true, beautiful, almost angelic yet has moments of soul, grit, and edge. In my eyes, she is the Queen of Music, not just country, rock, soul but MUSIC because she could perform all styles effortlessly.

  2. I remember buying a Linda Ronstadt album on 8-track for my mother to listen to in her Oldsmobile. She loved it. It was 1979. She had that, the 8-track that came with the car, and the Grease soundtrack.

  3. I recall her smiling at me & my date at one of her concerts! We were thrilled that such a wonderful singer actually took noticed of us.

  4. My heart is breaking. She is the greatest. I’ve loved her beautiful voice since I was a kid in the 70s. My deceased dad bought me all of her 70s albums. We listened to them together. In the 80s, I loved her canciones de mi padre and Trio records. She is truly a queen. God Bless Linda.

  5. I had listened to Linda Ronstadt on and off over the years, just a beautiful person inside and out, it is a shame for her to lose her voice.

  6. Man, That girl could sing. Joyous and sad. Brought us to a whole world of music. What a respite from the ugliest, phonies that liter our airways. She was the real deal in my youth and remains authentic.
