  1. So much for clean coal. Wealthy mine owners cheating the system. Trump’s America 👎🏼

    1. The U.S. government’s public debt is now more than $22 trillion — the highest it has ever been.

    2. “Clean Coal”???? When did you ever see ‘clean coal’? It’s just a lying catch phrase invented by Madison Avenue for the coal industry.

    3. @John C I think that was why he put it in the comment he leave it to you as a not Republican to understand that

    4. It also shows how much cutting regulation saves jobs , not a single job saved … 1700 job lost
Earlier Cloud Park coal company did file chapter 11 , 3rd largest coal company in USA , produced 7,4 % of all coal used in USA 2017 , it had 1300 workers .
From last October US has now lost 4 big coal companies … coal produced 48% of US electricity in 2008 , its soon under 24% , thats half of market gone in 10 years .
Best part , Moscow Mitch is blocking the Coal Miners healthcare bill , that would pay coal miners healthcare if the companies they work for go belly up .

    1. joe mazamutto:yup the gullible coal miners believe every word from the orange blob, and now they are screwed, I say suffer SUCKERS.

    2. @mixtele. Azul I can’t do that. I see people that need help. I try to help. It’s just who I am. I don’t care who they are.

    3. @elijah mikle : I get what you are saying, but it’s because of gullible and close minded people like them that we have a complete moron in the presidency.

    1. @snoop alert
I agree but making people work 3 jobs to earn an average wage doesn’t encourage 1000’s of the unemployed to even registered as unemployed!

  2. Hillary warned you about this.
There is a decrease in demand for coal worldwide.
She would have created green jobs to replace those coal jobs.
However, you voted for this liar.
    Oh well.

    1. @Bud Fudlacker *Sigh* Ok, I’ll bite. First, the vast majority of the hottest years on record have been since 2000, with the five hottest coming in the last five years. That is not normal. Also, the majority of carbon has been put into the atmosphere by humans since the debut of Seinfield. We can definitely control it. You’re an unwitting shill for the fossil fuel companies who want to keep their obscene profits at the expense of a bearable, likely even livable, climate for you and your children.

    2. @Bud Fudlacker *Sigh* I’ll bite. The last five years have been the warmest years on record. The majority of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere has been put there by humans since the debut of Seinfield. That is a result of our actions, so yes, we influence the climate. Speaking of money, no mention in your comment about the fossil fuel industry spending millions of dollars to protect their obscene profits at the expense of a bearable, likely even livable, climate for our children.

    3. @Kelli Barnhouse Trump isn’t interested in the country, the people, jobs. He employed illegals – cheap labor. He is a businessman and only interested in profits – which is why a lot of his stuff still comes from China – PROFITS.

  3. Not True – Madam Lash Buggy Whips have never been in more demand – Trump Tower is one of our biggest customers.

    1. They didn’t hear ‘clean’ coal, they just heard someone was going to let them keep their jobs. You can’t blame them for that.

    2. 傭兵Cloud The people you see doing that at his rallies are just barely educated enough to write their own names. They pile into their pickup trucks and run down to the gathering to do all their tiny minds can, pounding beers and shouting meaningless slogans when told to do so, much as their ancestors attended lynchings, utterly clueless about themselves. They are his people.

I feel badly for the coal miners losing their livelihoods. The writing on the wall that this was unquestionably going to happen has been clear for decades. A real leader would have the foresight to offer them tax relief and financial support for vocational training so their talents could serve their communities, because that’s what real leaders do. These are seriously dark times in America, with the most venal and disingenuous ensuring failure for the future of their own children. Incredibly sad.

    1. Ruth
Acting President tRump wants to create 100.000 jobs in forestry this Autumn! Sweeping up the leaves from those bigly Pine Trees!

    2. No no, he needs to offer them jobs at Packard Bell, you know it’s a higher paying job and he knows they deserve better.

  4. 5:11 “not to get religious but…its been put there by god for us to use”.
    Lying for Jesus yet again.

  5. “God put coal there for us to use.” LOL. Yeah, he put strychnine there too, get some of that “in your blood”.

    1. Then he also put uranium there for nuclear power. Perhaps they should try having some of that “in their blood”.

    2. @Scion of Madness Actually there has been less damage using uranium than there has been in coal use, except for the few examples of poorly built reactors.

Molten Salt Reactors are the safest reactors ever designed and will have to be used as a green alternative for baseline electricity.

Smaller safer and produce less waste than reactors in use today which are all over 50 years old and should be decommissioned because they are ticking time bombs.

    3. @Scion of Madness It wasn’t a critique of you my friend.

I had some verbal diarrhea left over so I spilled it. lol

  6. “We used to make buggy whips. But not anymore.’ – that energy guy
    👏👏👏
Dear coal miners – I get that it pays well and it’s part of your history. But – hear me out here – FIND A NEW PROFESSION! 👍
    And you’ll live longer. 😃

    1. Let’s give coal miners and the laborers some credit, they do know coal is not a sustainable resource. I’m sure most are well aware of the reasons behind this and of course they want jobs to replace what they lost. The problem with this is that these owners know they’ve been receiving tax cuts, and now even deregulation isn’t going to help workers. The spewing out of lies only to get him into office worked, he never bothered to give a solution if the mines don’t stay open. You see when your a politician you always look for a solution in case something does happen and that your plans don’t work. That solution is to provide in the short term relief for the workers in a form of food stamps and unemployment benefits and healthcare. Then provide a path for new forms of job opportunities such as a more sustainable sources of energy maybe tap into methane deposits within the fossil fuel mines etc. Look for more cleaner energy alternatives to replace those lost jobs, manufacturing of goods which should of been top priority to entice businesses to set up shop from US companies. You see it’s plain and simple you replace jobs that are lost due to economic change and global demands. Apple looks for manufacturing in other countries why not pressure Apple to build in the US their products, give them some kind of deal to entice them to return their factories to the US.

  7. Ya know coal is the biggest export of North Korea…..and Trump is “In love” with their dictator

  8. Remember that  DUMMIES   you get what you asked for.  Trump Dump isn’t saying a dam thing about this,  or bring  Ford and GM back  to America.

    1. Actually his tariffs are speeding up their departure, but in his defence (and I hate to defend him) it is inviting/forcing foreign auto makers to come.
It’s just cheaper to manufacture high end cars in their region of use.

    2. Tesla is making money hand over fist. Spending as much as they can make and selling more cars than they can build!

    3. @David Beppler actually that’s not totally true. There is far more information missing from you’re post but I do agree manufacturing should be in this region of the globe when it comes to domestically originated vehicles. Lets not forget the reason why vehicles are assembled by foreign automakers in this country and in Canada. The vast majority of people driving vehicles are North Americans, and the countries that import know this. In order to meet demand they build factories here in order to compete and allow to circumvent tariffs and duties. So here’s the dilemma people don’t understand when they say keep foreign cars away from the country etc. First they provide Americans a choice, then they offer jobs for Americans to be able to buy those vehicles, homes and food on the table, third they boost the local economy. The economics behind manufacturing and job creation is not what Politicians emphasize the most, Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren have highlighted most of these. You have to understand how the business model works and how local economy and overall trade before spewing out garbage such as Trump, then scaring businesses away from coming in setting up shop, and some leaving. You can’t have it one way you need to compromise something to get something, and mostly you get more in return than what you really see.

  9. i wonder if these unemployed trumpanzees will stick to their beliefs and not apply for socialist unemployment and socialist food stamps……….

    1. Many Trumpanzees are religious and can’t see that the concept of heaven is in fact a socialist utopia 🙄😂

    2. @Sam Brenna, you’re correct but people don’t understand the meaning of social programs. The problem is the explanation of what social programs are and socialism, it is a tactic used by the Republicans. They paint social programs provided by the government as a backdrop of bad policies because they tie it with dictator and communist governments.

  10. Trump: “Make coal great again”

Solar power: watch me end these people s whole livelyhood * becomes cheapest source of energy *

Wind power: * follows close behind*

    Trump: ~ “Wind causes cancer”

  11. The slow decline of coal started back in the 80s, and it wasn’t because of environmentalists.
Along with making coal great again, Trump wants to bring back coal powered locomotives, and coal powered steam ships for our navy.
What Trump is too ignorant to realize, is that the people who worked in those coal mines generations ago, did so so that their kids and grandkids wouldn’t have to. And today, their kids and grandkids have no interest in going down into a coal mine. It’s 2019, not 1919. I guess tomorrow we can expect Trump to announce his plan to make whaling oil great again.

    1. The sad part is they want to go back in. They want the coal mining jobs back, because it’s all they know. I can empathize with that. I don’t blame them for giving it one more try. Empty stomachs have way of changing your thinking.

    2. You’re so right David, it is a generation gap that wasn’t suppose to continue and it was because of the hazzards of coal mining. THere is a danger to coal that most don’t understand when you do mine. Sure there are safety measures in place and breathing devices, but I’m sure some do die of lung cancers and other form of health issues.

  12. Yeah but those owners got their tax breaks before they filed bankruptcy niiiice I’m sure they’ll vote for Con again

    1. Scion of Madness : Exactly. So was uranium. So was, “the wind and the sun,” as you said. Most of all, so was humanity, and everything that came from them; their ideas, their inventions, their ability to save us from destruction. I haven’t heard that, “put there by God,” rhetoric, before. But, it’s SO GOP, it sounded familiar when I read it, if you get my meaning? These poor people really thought that Trump would, “help,” them, like the people of Flint Michigan, who’s water is still toxic. Civics classes should be compulsory in America. No wonder Fox rails against education . . . Smh ✌️👍
