  1. Rick Scott the criminal talking about responsibility he says. From the governor who pled the 5th 20 godamn times to keep from incriminating himself. Self responsibility indeed!

    1. Kelley Lolley Oh wait did Gilliam win the election ? NO he is not the senator of a state that is complaining about spring breakers and doing nothing about it. Who also plead the 5th as a sitting senator. Gilliam is just another citizen in a drug infested country

    2. @Kelley Lolleydrug dealers walking into banks with duffle bags of money.i live here now.more corruption here like anywhere else.

    3. @Crystal Giddens likely these accounts aren’t even female, let alone real. Most Republicans are too afraid to speak online with their real names. Their hilarious paranoia won’t allow for it.

    1. @Roll tide Roll the same thing will happen when the virus goes home with them and they triger a lockdown quarantine + people will die.
      There is No easy solution.

    2. Scott was our former governor, now senator, and he stops at saying close our beaches because he knows the economic impact on the tourism industry. Some beaches are or have closed already by local government. No huge Scott fan, but I give it to him about personal responsibility at least.

    1. @Freewheelin’ Franklin and it’s spelled COLLEGE!! NOT COLLAGE. 2ENTIRELY DIFFERENT THINGS!! .
YOU MUST STILL BE LIVING WITH PARENTS!! .

    2. @Beverly Vinson
Thanks for the spelling lesson. Should I correct it? Will that make you feel better?

  2. All of these people from spring break are now going back home with whatever they caught, including those from out of state.

  3. This guy is talking about taking responsibility and taking action like he is not a US senator with the power to do exactly that…

    1. That man is a snake. I wouldn’t be surprised if he got the virus after all the foul stuff he’s done he’s another wannabe Trump clone puppet.

    1. Eric Haber, don’t you worry too much. OUR generation will help us get rid of the Boomer generation, which is always a positive thing.

    2. @Blue Rascal Ohhhhhhh dude, more shooters, 👀🏌️‍♂️ that’s dark…. so so so dark! 😂

  4. They should have shutdown the beaches weeks ago. The governors of these states should be held criminally responsible for everyone who gets sick and dies from being there.

    1. eshesimua actually health officials have been warning for MONTHS about this but governor DeSantis himself among with countless of republicans have ignored it and screaming fake news and witch hunt just like they have for the past four years

    2. Hildebeast Clinton 1. Countless of people with symptoms have been turned away because of limited testing capabilities in almost every state. EVERY health official says that we have no way of knowing how high the number is but it is likely much much higher.
      2. What shutdown Italy was the fact that people didn’t stay inside and then went out in public without knowing they were sick and infected tons of people and then all of a sudden they went from a couple hundred cases nation wide to several thousand in two days. The CDC and WHO warning the same thing can and will happen here if we don’t do something now.

    3. Novella Glass Okay but we all know that fucking dumbass college students are gojng to make dumbass decisions because they’re young and naive. The government’s job is to protect the wellbeing of all Americans and that includes fucking shutting down public spaces during outbreaks. There is a ton of legal precedent to do so as well. States have been doing this to quarantine since the beginning of America.

  5. He knew spring break was coming… why not make a announcement to stay off the beaches.. and THEN close the beaches…. close bars and restaurants like everyone else… seems like he’s avoiding a direct question

    1. Connie Rogers it’s all common sense. People whoever participated in spring break are most of them are in college, they have brains and the hotel, restaurant and bar owner got brain too. Why someone has to tell them about the epidemic. All selfish evils.

    1. @John Caulfield the needs of the many outweigh the wants of some A holes who want to go to the beach.

  6. Well your president did say it was hoax by the Democrats 🤷🏽‍♀️🤷🏽‍♀️🤷🏽‍♀️

    1. For months Trump, Fox, Ted Cruz, and many other members of the republican party told them:

“This was nothing more than the flu!”
      “It’s all a hoax!”
“It’s just a liberal plot to attack Trump!”
“They should go out and support restaurant and hotels!”
“It will all go away, miraculously!”

Now, that they have finally come to their senses, they want to pass judgement on someone else. All of these assholes can go straight to hell!

    1. @Valdo Franc Thanks for not taking it wrong I just thought you might want to know. I followed this scumbag and could not believe he won the governorship both elections. My intrest started when I was dating a nurse in one of the hospital’s he shuttered. You know about the 4 counties that were hacked according to the FBI but scott somehow set it up whete we can’t find out which ones. Stay safe and healthy my friend.

    2. Cant stand that reptilian looking man. He gives me the creeps and what he’s done politically foul to the people is a whole nother kind of Ewww snake moves of his. 🤔That snake man is disgusting he looks like a damn reptilian. Lol 👌🤣🤦🤷💯

  7. Among today’s dead was a 20-something guy from Wisconsin. Just sayin’, for those that still think the young are invincible.

    1. @cj p lmao mass graves in Iran, countless dead in china forcing crazy measures, and now in Italy the military is called in to transport the dead by the fucking truckload cause the crematoriums are overwhelmed

Yeah man it’s all a conspiracy USA is safe and the best

    2. The doctor from Wuhan Province that alerted the world to COVID-19 and then died was 34. Pretty young I’d say. Wouldn’t you all say? I sure would….say. The young…not bulletproof.

    3. @CD Smith The difference between the mortality rates between people of different age groups makes Covid potentially terrifying for the older generation and about the same as the flu for the younger generation.

The young are relatively bulletproof and don’t need special precautions FOR THEIR HEALTH, that’s not to say that they shouldn’t take precautions so that they aren’t spreading the disease.

You can find young people who die of heart attacks, it’s still not a concern for a healthy young person compared to older people.

  8. Rick Scott: “y’all should close the beaches…”
Florida Voters: Umm, you’re a Senator! Write a law!

    1. @D L If all beaches are temporarily closed by federal or state legislation or executive order, municipal governments can solve other local problems.

    2. @dcoleman4444 those kids need to get their freak on! they don’t care about your elderly grandma’s life, until they’re confronted with possible fines or arrest 😰

  9. Remember when Chris Christie closed the beach, just to have it all for himself and his family ?
