  1. Just so we’re all on the same page, “competition” is code for “billionaires and corporations, don’t worry; I’ll still allow you to make obscene amounts of money off of people’s health and welfare”.

    1. @Richard Hammonds Most recipients of government assistance (welfare) are Republicans in Red States, but please do go on making a fool of yourself

    2. DING! DING! DING! People don’t love their health insurance, and most don’t even get to choose their own insurance; their employer does.

  2. To everyone who says they’re going to take away your glorious private healthcare… it’s so glorious when you have to call the insurance co. & fight for them to cover your prescriptions, or medical procedures. When you still have to pay $1600 or more to have a baby in a hospital WITH insurance coverage… forgive me, I’m not going to be shedding a tear when we say goodbye to the glorious private insurance. Oh and if you argue “but my employer contributes more to my private insurance than other jobs do, that’s not fair…” – well with a Single Payer system your employer will save money…. all employers will… so if your employer wants to be competitive with other employers in the area, they will have to raise your wages. That’s how the MARKET works! OH YEAH!

    1. @Dale Bailey yeah sure you did bud. Any militia will be in tandem with the military considering those militias would be made up of former military members/ constitutionalists.
And even if it wasn’t the military can’t just bomb people hiding amongst the civilians. If you were in Vietnam you would know how difficult it is to fight an insurgency (Vietcong).

    2. @DrumWild again the US military isn’t going to fight a war against its own citizens. Especially not a militia made up of veterans/ constitutionalist (most combat troops are right wing anyways) or deserters from the military.

The combat troops won’t go to war against a cause they actually believe in.

    3. A whole 1600 huh? Perhaps consider if having a baby if you can afford it. Not the villages responsibility to carry your decisions for years to come.

    4. @captain crow You’re lucky! You must have had the good Obama care. Mine sucked when I had it! I had a $10,000 deductible, after that they would only cover 50%.

    1. @Richard Darlington She’s “better than that?” This is the same woman who when called out by Gabbard for her horrendous record as Attorney General of California acted like a bratty sorority girl and claimed she was a high tier candidate and Gabbard was just a low polling loser.

Warren acted the same way when confronted in the debate. They don’t know how to handle criticism. And when going up against the Troll-in-Chief, they’ll need much thicker skin

    2. Gizzard the war hero, is responsible for her racist trope to make her slip. Harris is confident and strong not an asset of the Russians!!!

    3. @Big Smoke Guitar False equivalency and lazy reasoning is for the weak. Now the topic is : A Republican is in the WH violating the Constitution and the rule of law in broad daylight what do we do? Sit on our hands contemplating baseless false equivalency or we do something about it? The choice is simple impeach and vote him out. Period.

  3. She said it right up front….. Corporations use healthcare as a bargaining chip against unions….
It keeps your wages lower… And the corporationshave been sitting on that lower co-pay for 2 to 5.years…. waiting for it to be useful….
I was you Union all my life…… I saw how the corporations work….

    1. @John Franklin Well unless your Christian. Obama wouldn’t let the Christians in and be honest you mention the name Jesus everybody flips out, No, everyone’s flooding the borders for the freebies they get while American citizens are told to wait in line for housing.

    2. @SAMWEST Private Jets, the 1% subsidies, & the crooked rich that don’t pay their fair share of taxes & just believe all of those rich guys talking points while we fight for basic healthcare/low wages. I bet Lyndsey Grahamcracker has great insurance. You people are watching our country be sold to Russia in plain view and it’s ok if you think you’re better than a hard working immigrant. Trust me, its enough money for every hard working individual here in America. Issues with Race and the fact that some of you want to feel superior is a mental disorder. You really need good health insurance bc you need therapy. smh

    3. @Alicia Salerno OMG you’re so dumb. Christian are not under attack. We are a Christian nation and say Merry Christmas. If anyone tells you otherwise they are lying. There are no freebies that illegal immigrants get. No one ever freaked out by saying Jesus here in America.

  4. In regards to voter suppression, why aren’t we hearing more about the attempts to suppress the Native American vote in certain areas. I’ve read one or two stories about how some Native Americans had PO boxes on their licenses due to not having physical addresses where the lived on the reservation. The local area passed a law saying that everyone had to have a physical address on id shown when voting. PO boxes were no longer acceptable.

    1. @Bob DeVreeze oh yes, I’m with you, it is paper ballot here no electronics. I don’t think I would trust that.

    2. @Richard Hammonds
Ask yourself who does the gerrymandering, I will tell you..REPUBLICANS, they just did it in NC and it was in the courts an the judges threw it out!! It is not yhe Democrats is the Republicans.

    3. @Lavern Revels ASK URSELF WHAT DID RUSSIA WANNA DO THIS ELECTION DISRUPT,,,LIES,,,OBSTRUCT CAUSE HATE HAVOC ,,,THEN JUST LOOK AT WHAT PUTIN LED DEMON RATS R DOING ,,EXACTLY WHAT RUSSIA WANTED SO CLEAR HOPE THEY FIND THAT WITCH SOON AND THAT FED COURT IS A LEFT OVER 2 TERMS SHAME OBAMA FULL DEMON RATS STOP BEING USED BY COMMIE NEWS NET WAKE UP

    1. Hvalpikk
really? You are just figuring this out? Everyone knows the Impeachment is a dead issue in the Senate.
We knew this just after the Republicans picked up seats in the Senate in 2018.

    1. @Donald J. Tяump Answer me this: I am not a robot (tick the box). Select the squares in the picture that show cars.

    1. Denise you saw that right, that was a break-neck pivot to get in line with the corporate healthcare industry that’s making over 100 BILLION in profits at the expense of the American people. #InBernieWeTrust #M4A

    2. @screech weiner If the private plans still existed, they would get the healthy people, putting the sick people on the public plan, making it cost more, then Republicans would say it wasn’t cost effective. It only works if the risk is spread out, among everyone. It isn’t right for private companies to profiteer off healthy people, then dump them when they get sick, which is what will happen if you have a plan like these corporate candidates are offering.
Medicare currently has about 3% administration costs, while the private plans are upwards of 25%. That’s a lot of money that isn’t going into patient care. It would cover a lot of uninsured people.
The very rich can just pay for private doctors and it won’t effect them, but average people need to understand that a stealth privatization of medicare, which is what some of these candidates are after, like Medicare Advantage, will be a disaster. Sander’s plan in the Senate, and Jayapal’s plan in the House, cover everyone for everything, without co-pays. That’s what we need.

    1. Main streaming media like Kamala and tried to help her but downgrade Tulsi Gabbard. When she lost to Tulsi Gabbard in a debate Media was upset. She now boasts that she will be at the senate for impeachment because she hated Trump. Can they also have closed door meeting?

    2. @Rual Go peddle your Russian ComradeTulsi bs elsewhere. Nobody here buying what you’re selling. Kamala ‘lost’ to Jill Stein2.0 LMFAO

  5. Boo! Harris just disappointed me! My union used healthcare Vs. Cost of living pay raise over our heads! Should Not have to be a choice! Also no vision or dental! I’m glad Harris has her Congress healthcare insurance but most of US do not have it so good! Boo Harris!

    1. @Marcus Caius sure, the short version is i just re-enrolled this week in an hsa plan that is low premium/high deductible. since i was able to add my wife this year, instead of getting just a 700 dollar work contribution we both get the same, totaling 1400 bucks that can be spent between the two of us. however, we each have a deductible of 2800 bucks. my work offers health screenings where they take blood and, when compared to survey results, provides a ‘health score’. if you are at or below your target score, you essentially get free health coverage. i’ve always hit this goal, so i’ve only had to pay vision/dental, etc. i have yet to hear exactly what, if any, discount i get on my wife’s side since she did the same screening, but i believe there’s an additional discount. if memory serves, for the two of us it’s going to be no more than 80 bucks every two weeks.

my vision, which is low level/basic, is just under 6 bucks every two weeks. it provides for annual exam, 150$ of frame or contact allowance. my dental is similar, like 10 bucks every two weeks for basic cleanings, etc.

my wife’s insurance sucked and was twice the price for less coverage, but her company is much smaller. her vision was way worse, but oddly enough her dental was better, so i only added her for health/vision.

the reality is that what i pay for is fairly affordable with decent coverage. the problem is high deductibles, higher co pays in addition to the premiums on top of any potential battles i may need to fight with an insurance company who’s only purpose to exist is to take as much of my money while avoiding paying anything back to me when i need it. im 38 and she’s 39 and we know it’s only going to get worse from here on out, so a situation that is completely manageable now can easily become a nightmare. i’d be more than happy to pay at least as much as i’m paying now, if not slightly more, in additional taxes to know that i can go in for whatever i wanted, whenever i wanted (barring waiting times obviously) and not feel like i have to sell assets, go further into debt or potentially declare bankruptcy because either of us got really sick. i don’t particularly come from a place of privilege so there’s nobody to help us out. we, like millions of people, are operating on the edge of a knife and it completely dictates our lives in ways we otherwise wouldn’t be subject to in a mfa situation.

      hope that helps

    2. @brett leasure Thank you Brett, much appreciated. Now it’s somehow easier to compare. I always had and still have “FREE” health care, so I cannot quantify how much from the taxes I pay every year, goes to the health system. The only thing our health system do not pay for me anyways, is dental and vision. Personal vision insurance here is a real joke, you are allowed $300 every two years and the fee is $200 per year, go figure. Drugs are on a separate system where some are partially payed. I am now 60 and retired and I don’t need any additional insurance while in Canada.

    3. @BrunetteOnTheCouch aside from everything you’ve said being wildly inaccurate, your youtube page is disturbingly odd.

    4. @Marcus Caius you got it buddy! your vision insurance sounds really dumb, but if that’s the collateral damage from having free healthcare where the financial risks are exponentially higher, then i’d be happy to pay for that.

    1. Colleen Kelly the USA citizens are too greedy, ignorant & racist. This is the only progressive country without universal healthcare.

  6. Uggghhh,
“Let’s lock up everyone for marijuana so my conviction record looks good”
    -Kamala Harris.
“Oh I used to smoke and put on pac”-Kamala Harris”
She can have both those things be true at different times, but she has to be honest about it.
Not to mention her keeping an man on death row, by illegally withholding exculpatory evidence, until she had to be honest, by court order.
    Won’t get my vote.

    1. Kamala the cop that laughed gleefully about her plan to jail parents if their kids were truant. She’s not a for-the-people candidate. Never has, never will be. She prosecuted & btw did nothing about the issue of police overreach & brutality.

    2. Shes Putting Her Self Into The Impeachment Hearings, And A Ploy For The Oval Office, Cut Throat Opportunist! I Made up My Mind Don’t Trust Her!

  7. Isn’t she the one that was laughing at Andrew Yang and now Yang is polling higher than her in her own state?

    1. With so many candidates running for the nomination anything can happen; it is therefore no surprise that a candidate may not win his or her own home state. Remember- ya’ll laughed at Trump. But he lost his home state of New York in the general election and then win on to win the presidency. Bernie also lost his own state of New York in the 2016 primary. I’m telling you- anything can happen.

    2. The Deal She is not going to win. She is not charismatic at all. You have to be a little bit likable to become president. Trump has that trait.

    3. Mayor Booty had a good chuckle too NOW he is stealing ideas from Yang. Heh, Mayor Pete, just another political weasel…
