    1. @Marcelo Serrano here’s googles definition, but to keep it short, you are having sex with someone with the hopes of gaining something out of it…….”A transactional relationship is a relationship where both (or all) parties are in it for themselves, and where partners do things for each other with the expectation of reciprocation. Almost all relationships start here. People tend to date a person because of what they get out of it.”

    2. Brian Bianco thank you but since there are two sides to this life formula… at some point when the formula gets off balance then there is a breakup but in this case , it has ended in rape accusations. Does it’s not seem like there is something off about this story?

    3. @Marcelo Serrano I’d lean towards believing her if she brought forth evidence of him sexually harassing her, if she DIDN”T have a sexual relationship after the alleged rape and NOT call it transactional. Her actions tell me she slept with a person in higher power with the hopes of gaining power herself and it didn’t work out how she planned……..so she pulled the “rape card”. Yeah, there’s something WAAAY off with the whole story…….

    4. @Dorian Shades of gray sorry I should have mentioned it was my ex boyfriend. I didnt even have my son yet so I had no ties to him. I could have left, and should have, but I thought it was love. Just saying don’t judge a book by its cover. There are details about their relationship we’re not aware of.

  1. Umm. Raped and then went on to a consensual sexual relationship. Did I miss something? If I did, ok. Otherwise this is bizarro world. This comment is about this singular incident. Word is there are plenty of others as well. Still, why after this would you start things up?

    1. @Sean O Narrow minded? Interesting. If you don’t understand it, you blame the victim? Really? This is why the #metoo movement became a tsunami. Maybe trying to listen and understand would serve us all better, and empathizing with those who experienced horrific rapes and assaults. Spouses rape spouses sometimes and guess what? It is still fucking rape. So think about that for a minute. Maybe caring about other human beings for starters, and judging less would make us all a little better. Calling a victim names and judging them harshly doesn’t reflect well. That is all I am saying. If you haven’t experienced any such thing, maybe lay off the cruel judgy bullshit.

    2. Not just rape but bloody anal rape…did they have more anal sex too after the fact? I want to believe women but something doesn’t add up about this story. Matt Lauer is a certified sexual predator so was she using him for a come up at work?

    3. @Torchy Brown So you date all your rapists as well? And then get your employer to pay you seven figures because they didn’t provide a safe workplace for you?

  2. So simply a claim is enough to get fire and ruin a reputation. They were FWB? And all the sudden now it’s rape and non-consensual? If she was ugh it’s terrible … it’s crazy he got fired though man ….

    1. Metal I fully agree if their guilty, may god have mercy on them because we should surgically remove their penis and testicles as well as give them a hefty prison sentence but if it’s a fraudulent claim than I’d ask you the same thing…… how would you feel if it were your father, uncle, brother or nephew that got fired, went to prison and had a permanent record of being a sexual predator! Their lives would be ruined plain and simple! That’s all I’m saying! It always seems like there isn’t a serious repercussion for fraudulent claims despite the seriousness of the consequences for the individual if found guilty!

    2. yeah, it’s just important not to silence men, how can the conversation be productive if you silence the men, especially in cases of potential RAPE. Not in favor of rape, that’s silly anyone would think that. It’s just our due process can’t work function properly with constant censorship, everyone needs all the facts. Male and females and other genders essentially just want equality, fairness and justice, but that can’t be achieved if it’s always “cancel cancel cancel” and one sided. All I’m saying.

  3. In the absence of due process, I am reluctant to take these allegations seriously; assuming they are false, Laurer should sue for defamation.

    1. Must have been some indication of ‘I’ll help you at work’ thus transaction. So yeah she’s a corporate hooker

    1. @Alexander L Nope, their divorced and she got half his money and several homes. She’s the real victim in all this.

    2. kellie kells Never got assaulted and has eight-figure net worth – sorry she’s doing just fine

    3. @kellie kells Yea. Millions of dollars and she can sleep with men that have hair on their heads. She cries herself to sleep every night.

  4. Then go to the Police. If Matt Lauer did something wrong then go to the Police. I’m so tired of trial by Media.

    1. If a woman can get money for a claim against a celebrity why go to the police? Its easier to try a little blackmail than get proof for trial is what I think happens with a lot of these allegations.

    2. SportDiver 2 haha ok buddy trump has been president for 3 years, what has he done to get the “Jews out” whatever that means, serious question. You trumptards make these wacky demands then insist he’s on your side based on nothing.

    1. @Dorian Shades of gray how did the democrats get mixed into this? Which happened first. Why didnt you react to that stupidity? 😆

    2. @Zenobia Hill dont bother. They dont want to understand. They just want to use the story to make political points. 😒

  5. Gee i know today its politically incorrect to say so but whatever happened to innocent until proven guilty? I suspect all women ready to hang him would pause for thought if it were thier husband father brother or son…..at least i hope so i dont know any more!!

    1. Soros and Jews decided to use fickle female psyche to destroy the Bill of Rights

More info than that isn’t required

  6. I teach my daughters if a man invites u to his hotel room dont be an ifiot its not for tea or conversation!!!!

    1. @Mr Man most women have to be taught by a man what rules are. Clearly a womans nature is narcissistic and manipulation. Little girls get rewarded for lying. By the time they are giving head to get ahead they’re beyond training properly.

    2. @fluff also to wipe front to back and to pee sitting down does not equal peeing standing up. Lol. Crazy bitches out of control today.

    3. She got seven figures from NBC. Certainly seems worth it. Carried on for months and got PTSD three years on while reading a #metoo tweet.

  7. I don’t understand why it is considered rape if they had a consensual relationship. They were both drunk from my understanding can someone please explain it to me

    1. @Mandy Last She’s saying she was too drunk to consent though. Did she ever tell him no or stop? Or was it just because she was too drunk?

    2. Michael Bernard:: On a separate post I asked the same question as you because the reporting in this video is contradictory. I appears the detailed story in the book indicates it was a forceful rape as in it would be rape regardless of whether she was drunk or not. If that is the case, then that is certainly worse than lack of consent on the basis of being drunk. Instinctively most people would say it was really strange for her to have consensual sex with him after the rape. But keep in mind, she doesn’t want to lose her job. And he is her boss. Her career would pretty much be over if she quits or makes him unhappy. So this falls in the the category of 1) a civil suit for workplace discrimination, as this is happening based on her gender. (If a man was sexually manipulated by his boss, that would also be discrimination). 2) Breaking the contract with his company. Virtually all companies prohibit sexual relationship with persons in a direct supervisor relationship because it constitutes abuse of power. They have the option of reporting the relationship as soon as it starts so that they can be reassigned. 3). If he did rape her, then that’s a criminal charge. The fact that she had consensual sex with him after the rape only emphasizes his intent on continuing to abuse his power and not reflecting on his actions.

    1. Mandy Last if she was too drunk so was he. So they raped each other. You can’t say. It will impair one but not the other. But she went back when she was sober. Showing that the alcohol was not the only reason.

    2. Mandy Last ……Mandy , I never said rape was ok . Both are adults and common sense when drunk obviously was not exercised by either. One thing you fail to mention in your comment. That is , what is your thought on her going back over and over to Matt for more sex after this rape incident ???

    3. israel nieves:: Instinctively most people would say it was really strange for her to have consensual sex with him after the rape. But keep in mind, she doesn’t want to lose her job. And he is her boss. Her career would pretty much be over if she quits or makes him unhappy. The fact that she had consensual sex with him after the rape only emphasizes his intent on continuing to abuse his power and not reflecting on his actions. Essentially, him having sex with her after the rape is worse and shows it was not just because he was drunk that he abused his power.

  8. So she continued to sleep with him even after the incident and then SUDDENLY (3 years later) she decides to bravely come forward with her big “METOO/moment of courage?” Lol!

    1. @Lisa McAllister 90 percent of it is bullshit. Soros funds dumb dumbs as long as they erode due process and the Bill of Rights.
Homosexuals and dumb bitches are well suited willing victim tools for Marxists wet dreams.

    2. @AmericanMade ……Would you continue to have sexual relations with someone who had raped you ?? Because she did on multiple ocassions. Prior to the rape they were having sex …..the time that he raped her they were having consensual sex ……it was when he went foward with wanting anal sex forcefully …..she did not consent too. Here’s my problem with that is they were both drunk . When your intoxicated , your not in the right state of mind. Just like driving a car , when intoxicated it doesn’t matter if your a woman or not ….bad things happen. Yet even after this event , she continued to visit matt and had sex over and over . So I’m gonna take a hard pass on her legitimacy as matt being this sexual monster predator . I think they both did wrong. He raped her anally and she raped his bank account.

    3. @israel nieves I think is a story of two adults that had a sexual affair, and on the specific night they were both drunk. Did he force himself on her ? Maybe, but thats not rape, its a bad night between two lovers. I think we all had them with our partners.

  9. Edward R. Murrow — “It has always seemed to me the real art in this business is not so much moving information or guidance or policy five or 10,000 miles. That is an electronic problem. The real art is to move it the last three feet in face to face conversation.” — “Good night, and good luck.”

    1. She certainly mustered up the “moral courage” to talk about him after it was clear she was on her way out the door, that’s for sure. Waited 3-4 years, told about it to a rando, then waited another 3 years for a book to be released rather than go through proper channels to file public charges etc. Guess money was more important to her than the grand offense she endured.

“Transactional” Yea she got that part right 🤣 A mere superficial relationship? You can say that again, woman!

  10. her accusation makes no sense. she goes back to a man’s hotel room, drunk ah. then, after alleged incident, she goes on to have a consensual sexual relationship with him. um, whaa??
